Every card is different. :) Im at 1.150v 1470mhz but my vram sucks and cant go any higher than 2000. Still i can use lvl2 timings it gives some extra points in firestrike so thats something.

    https://vulkan.lunarg.com/doc/sdk/1.2.148.1/windows/release_notes.html

    https://vulkan.lunarg.com/sdk/home

While not the most critical piece of software the Vulkan loader / runtime got updated from 1.2.148.0 to 1.2.148.1 which in this case does in fact fix a runtime crash issue as per that last note in the change log there.
The runtime is the smaller separate download not the full SDK.

    https://vulkan.lunarg.com/sdk/home#sdk/downloadConfirm/latest/windows/vulkan-runtime.exe

AMD I think uses 1.2.139.0 compatible VLK driver files and the runtime is 1.2.133.0 if I remember correctly.
These are backwards compatible so I keep them up to date because I don't know some reason. :D
(Mostly it's SDK or development related but crash fixes are nice to have when they are part of the update notes like in this case.)

It should just be a tab in Radeon Settings that you enable/install as a one-time activation and then in the settings tab you have a list of hotkeys including bringing out the overlay and ReLive functionality but I don't remember the default key binding.
    *Quick Search*
Alt-Z it seems from what I can find.
(Alt-R for the Radeon Overlay itself.)

Okay, no progress for me and an Aorus RX 570

    1) FarCry 3 crashing to desktop as soon as recording is activated
    2) FC4 still stuttering along when recording

    nothing getting better of course

only Doom4 works fine when recording

switch to Stereo sound mode under General/ Audio channels

AMD has horrible drivers. I get black screen, I even need to go safe mode to uninstall drivers if I cannot turn toggle off when I try to use GPU Scaling with my new monitor. Nice one. Nvidia next gen gpu is closer than ever. New low for team red. Very low to make me anxious with this ****.

I've always been a fan of NVidia but decided to get a RX5700 XT last year and can honestly say driver wise it's been the worse experience I've had in years.
I doubt if my next GPU will be AMD which is a shame because they are competively priced and I feel this card is pretty good but let down by crap drivers all the time.

That's how it is since ATI days. Once upon a time, until CCC got refreshed they provided interesting features. Since AMD acquired them, they have the worst QoL support and service for customers, I do not even care about enterprise and creators. As a gamer I am disappointed at a maximum level.

There are many more people who don't have driver issues than there are. If it was as bad as you portray, the RMA and Returns % would be a lot higher. 3% or less is the industry expectation.

I've had a ATI based laptop, a R9 390 and a 5700XT. They all work. I had an odd video playback issue that turned out to be an OS issue, and not the drivers, which was fixed when I redid the OS with the same drivers.

I thought the same until I googled my issue. There is a small minority with special issues, but serious ones. It is unacceptable a simple toggle like gpu scaling makes my screen disappear. I could accept corruption or distorted image, but black screen? It is a Quality Assurance failure from RTG.

But I can live with that, everything including games are smooth and visually great. What if I were an amateur? How could I fix a bad toggle from gpu settings? Probably a noob would go and format or buy a new screen or even asking to RMA monitor for a driver issue. It isn't a so cute situation.

I played mostly on 60, rn at 75Hz monitor without FreeSync support, and never ever saw tearing. Is just my monitor good?

I have memory at 2250MHz Timing2 but can't OC the memory higher then 1411MHz at 1.2V ... it went unstable af at high demanding games

Not sure how to take that. Will 20.8.3 fix something in 20.8.2?
