    Hellos gurus!
I am back into the IT world and for my work i installed latest Windows 10. My laptop is the T440p Thinkpad updated to the latest BIOS, 8 Gb RAM and rocks an i7 4702MQ CPU and a SSD.
For the life of me, I can't fix the time settings. Every time I open my session, I have to manually syncronise the time, even if I set the time zone, the server etc.
The system is updated and every time my machine just forgets to update the time, always show another time zone.
    Any insights in this matter?

And another issue I am facing. High latency on Microsoft storport.sys and HDAudBus.sys.
LatencyMon was started, indentified what caused the lag, updated everything. Nothing worked. After a day, I did absolutely nothing and it went away.
Today ,the lag and audio issues are back. It drives me crazy.
    What am I missing?

Maybe Cortana or similar location sensor active. Another, did you try when you setup windows 10 without accept every sync.
New update brings latency I agree with you. So, some people return from last update to previous one.

yeah drivers are too old, have never been updated to win10 probably.
microsoft drivers are crap, so you would need the device's drivers.

you can search for modded drivers , if there are any. they could help a bit.

You have not described the environment of your laptop. Is it domain at work? How laptop is configured to sync the time? How does laptop connect to Internet?

    No Cortana. Disabled.
Not accepted the default settings on the installation.

Updated the drivers with the latest I could find across the Web.

Not connected to any domain for the moment. And it is connected to internet by either ethernet cable or WiFi. Nothing special, the usual stuff.
The default settings for sync the time.

Well, have the same. Time sync that is(no sync:)), no audio issues. Maybe w10 2004 problem on some configurations. No idea what causes this. Maybe my w10 shut up! stuff, dunno. Was working ok same style on 1909. Or 1903.

Run all the usual tree dism commands and sfc scannow with wsreset exe. Those should be a total of 5 entries usable with powershell with administrator's privilege. Then restart your PC.
