    32" will do me just fine, cant imagine this will be anything less than outrageously expensive though.

    I cannot find details about panel. If it's not VA, it's an easy pass. OLED/SVA or nothing. I ain't coming back to TN/IPS even if it has HDMI 3.0 and 8K 240HZ.

    OLED=burnins
    VA=motion blur
    IPS=IPS glow
    TN=well TN

    You'll have to pick your poison I guess :D The price should be around 2k most likely.

    So is this mostly in anticipation of the new consoles before this becomes standard place and trickles down to new/cheaper TVs in the future? Are the new consoles expected to push 4K 120Hz TVs into the mainstream? If so, that would be great way to lower the price on adaptive sync display technology vs. the options we have now. I just can't see many parents buying their kids a brand new TV/monitor with their brand new console just for 4K video games at 120hz. I must be missing something important here...

    I find it pointless when this year's TV's are coming with HDMI 2.1, 120 hz and 4k HDR.

    This IS a TV.

    ASUS and their practice of slapping "Gaming" on every product that exists.

    What's next ASUS, gaming sunshades ?

    Gaming sunshades!? Nani?! That's a great idea! Nice! What's better than sun rays refracted in multicolored RGB gamut? Republic of Gamers is no more! Long live the Rays of Gaming made by gamers for the gamers! :p :D

    Not sure whats so special about HDMI 2.1 on a monitor with 2x DP 1.4. For TVs, sure, HDMI 2.1 is a necessity since they lack DP.

    4K maybe an option for 1440p
    G-sync

    I think is that sweet spot!

    43"? I have enough for maybe a 34 ultra wide after that nah!

    Check the Philips 328M1R. Is expected start of the year with 3 HDMI 2.1, DP1.4, 144hz 4K VA with Freesync HDR600, including 2.1 DTS sound system (5W speakers plus sub). Price around €599

    dont care what panel, as im interested in a big screen (40 and up) that is flicker free and can do more than just 60hz.

    for anyone asking why hdmi/2.1:
    guess what you need to support VRR or things like input lag reduction?
    guess what you need to run a ps5/XB with those features?
    who says your fixed to play 4K res? who says you cant use 120Hz with a lower res?

    some ppl are acting like gaming is only relevant on pc or the "features/connections" it supports.

    All upcoming consoles use 2.1 for VRR/Freesync 4K60+ HDR so the manufacturers need to cater for the console market.
    See the Philips 328M1R which the company delayed 6 months just to get 2.1 certification for the consoles. Same applies to all companies.
