Playing a number of games for quite some time now since the driver got out... everything seems way smoother. Was previously with 446.14, 451.22 gave me stutters all over the place. 446.14 was good and this one is even better. No problems noticed until now.

Could be. I'm not here to troubleshoot it. However my point is, this is an established major known issue that is not listed as one and should have been for several driver versions now.

3hrs Destiny2 session and I have to say I'm really impressed with this driver, the only one so far, otherwise I kept going back to 442.01.

It's Very very smooth in this game, thought 442.01 was smooth , but this one is 2x.

    Keeper for now!

    First time? ;)

I hope this can be fixed but how slow Microsoft is at "fixing" or "adding" things it could be years from now. Still waiting on my GOD DAMN FLIP MODE TOGGLE....ehem..sorry

    unnecessary, ctrl+shift+escape
    end task startmenuexperiencehost.exe

Whatever the issue is, its in microsofts own process and they need to fix it.

CoD.MW running fine here with Vsync on,HAGS on and VRR on. Only thing the driver install did was changed my refresh rate in NCP from 100 to 50 fps when i rebooted after install and tweaks, slimmed down install

that isn't new, its been present since they set performance counters to disabled by default

    https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/ne...sues-in-gpu-display-driver-for-windows-linux/

deep changes take up to 6 months to clear QA

There are always a number of open issues, they just tend to go unlisted because they aren't widely reported, a number listed were only only recently because they'd not been reproducible or had minimal reports
    Yes.

Game mode is perpetually broken so go figure.

    No

Windows ninja'd a WU driver onto your pc

Expect anything using CPUID SDK (which is a joke tbh) to be broken

Pretty sure this is an artifact caused by premier using nvenc now and your content being in a profile not compatible with the gpu.

    Consider changing it from passthrough?

It seems after turning hags off, turning vsync back on, rebooting, turning hags back on, rebooting, played 4 games of mw and i didn't get any intermittent stutters... weird.. but ill take it for now lol , i also filed a report on it so maybe they can take a look at it.

There is visible screen tearing while scrolling in apps that aren't GPU accelerated. The best way to test this is in Discord. If HW acceleration is enabled, scrolling is smooth. Once is disabled, scrolling exhibits screen tearing. But there is interesting behavior. When I tried to record it with MSI AB, screen tearing was gone, but the moment I stopped recording it came back.
EDIT: It's cause by HAGS. Once I disabled it the screen tearing went away.

Here is Firefox without GPU acceleration: https://1drv.ms/v/s!ArqdydqOzYIbht1M_FCxXnyB9ZhJqA?e=0BHFhC
And here with GPU acceleration: https://1drv.ms/v/s!ArqdydqOzYIbht1OSruXROa37S7GeQ?e=2GQLYW
