I'm not panicking. I'm just laying out the facts. Nvidia have not commented on the fact that their press release was misleading. The least they could do is let us know when, approximately, they will actually release a game ready driver that does support the May Update.

    I have tested 450.99 and 451.22 versions.

Yes, he did. 450x+ is WDDM. And when the person asked if we are getting that, he said later this month (June).

How is this hard to understand?

It's not. It's very easy to understand.

Here is what he was replying to:

This doesn't have to be a 450 driver.

check your vulkan layers, people have reported the same of rdr2 but for the majority both work fine.

This is covered in the Game Ready Driver article:
    https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/valorant-game-ready-driver/

"Game Ready For The Windows 10 May 2020 Update
Our new Game Ready Driver also provides support for Microsoft’s release of the Windows 10 May 2020 update, which is now starting to roll out to users. The new Windows update brings a wide variety of new features, ranging from GPU temperature being shown in Task Manager, to the introduction of the new DirectX 12 Ultimate graphics API.

DirectX 12 Ultimate codifies many of the hardware features first introduced by NVIDIA RTX GPUs back in 2018, such as ray tracing, variable rate shading, and more, into a new standard for next generation gaming. DirectX 12 Ultimate will enable even more developers to take advantage of these awesome technologies.

Note: if you are a developer starting to work with DirectX 12 Ultimate’s mesh shader or sampler feedback features, please visit our developer portal to download the latest developer drivers.
    "

If you wish to have a WDDM 2.7 driver a little sooner, you can download the DirectX developer driver 450.99 or the CUDA driver 451.22. Our next Game Ready Driver will be based on R450 branch and will be available later this month.

Guys, why are you so freaked about WDDM 2.7 and DX12 Ultimate Drivers? What difference will you see in games? I mean considerable one. They will come later this month, no big deal..

Not to mention games need to support dx12u features like mesh shaders so it will be a while.

Has anyone had any really bad stutter with this driver? (446.14)

Even before trying out Win10 build 2004, I would often get 100% GPU usage for no obvious reason and the entire system would tank, audio stutters, mouse cursor barely moves. But it only seems to be happen when some 3d accelerated application or game is used. It will settle down on it's own.

in Latencymon I see really bad results like this: [IMG]https://imgur.com/3JIv2q5

My temperatures are all fine (under 60)

I feel like input lag higher, and have crashes on f1 2019 and madden nfl 20, backed to 445.98 and everything looks normal again

If you're running a game or other intensive application while running Latencymon that is perfectly normal. If your entire system is tanking and you have audio problems while playing a game you have major issues somewhere. Reads almost like you're running out of RAM and hitting the page file.

Not running out of RAM, I have 64GB and did check that to make sure. The apps I'm using aren't that intensive on the GPU. For example the one SDK I'm using loads the GPU around only 20% and I also had Spotify, Discord and a remote desktop session open, nothing too demanding. I'd take a guess it might be due to/during times when the GPU adjusts it's clock speed but I'm really not sure.

I haven't had any issues in Metro Exodus with RTX enabled which is pretty demanding, so something else has to be at play here I guess. :\

Or a portion of power delivery is hitting thermal limits and throttling.
Or a defective PCIE controller encountering high amounts of correctable errors delaying ISRs

I installed 451.22 and so far it seems far better now.
