Well then, I have to conclude that MS has decided not to offer 450.99 to some on Insider who received the last version.

    But why?

Either that, or it was offered via WU for a very, very, very short period of time and was pulled.

    Which is more likely?

It probably isn't offered anymore since nVidia made it available through its developer website

Did that happen with the previous version?

To receive 450.99, I switched into Fast Ring (While on 2004),
Turned OFF the policy “Do not include drivers with Windows Update
And hit check for updates on the Windows Update screen.

This began the download for 196xx, and 450.99.
Once the driver was downloaded i stopped the delivery optimisation and windows update services and deleted the downloaded Insider files, set it back to Release Preview and made the first of the 2 Mega packages published in this thread.

Another user in this thread published a direct package link on the msft servers for one of them

I really dont want to be an ass... but you can just download them from dev portal where you actually get proper install version? Its really not that difficult outside maybe first day or two, when they where available on WU only.... but we are arguing how ~3+ weeks old drivers are available... yes nvidia release beta drivers more frequently for insider users...

Its simply to counter HardResets typical misinformation.

I removed the Mega links from the OP once the dev preview was uploaded to nvidia's site.

    Stupid question...

How do I install the Audio only drivers from the OP, from the zip file?

    THanks!

Right click the .inf file(s) and install, they only work with secure boot disabled btw.

Excluding HW accelerated GPU scheduling (which apparently isn't working even when enabled), 450.99 performs a little better than 446.14. Benchmark test in RDR2, 65.1 FPS, with 446.14, 63.6 FPS. Performance did drop off somewhere along the lines, but I don't exactly which driver... one of the 441.x or 442.x drivers, and is now back to where it should be with 450.99, maybe slightly better.

I've updated my W10 to 2004 using the "MediaCreationTool2004.exe" provided by Microsoft then I've installed this driver with the option to reset settings to default. Everything works nicely no issues at all. I could even enable hardware scheduling.

Did it for all my 3 systems and worked nicely with NVIDIA and AMD but for VEGA64 even with the latest beta driver I couldn't find the option for enable hardware scheduling.

Using 450.99 on Win10x64, I'm seeing a bug where, when this test machine (X58pro-e MB) returns from standby, Nvidia control panel is losing the Desktop Color Depth settings (NCP/Display/3/Apply/Desktop Color Depth). The monitors that revert back to 32-bit and lose their Limited/Full and 8/10bit options are on the DP ports of a testbed GTX 970. Even the option to change these settings back to the correct settings just disappears, so I have to assume this is an EDID refresh issue?

Of course, a reboot restores full functionality and the settings as they were before standby/resume, so the settings are not lost forever, just not re-polled correctly after resuming from standby.

Is anyone else seeing this? Thanks.

I believe the reason you're not seeing it is certain Windows versions pull different updates from WU. i.e: Windows 10 Pro would pull 450.99 and Windows 10 Enterprise would pull a previous more stable branch. If your running a business edition Windows this could be your reason.

Confirmed, on GTX 680 connected to a 55" Thorne TV

On resume the signal being output is Limited range, which appears quite bright on a full range tv.

HDMI output, use windows settings was set.
Issue is new to 450.99, didn't happen in 450.82.

Does this driver have the shader cache fix from 445.98 & 446.14 ?

Ah, okay, thanks for confirming it. I'm sure nvidia is aware of this.
