Yeah, that does sound all a bit familiar eh? MSI unveils Sound Tune, an AI-powered noise cancellation software that filters out all the unwanted background noises to remarkably enhance users' commun... MSI Offers "Sound Tune" AI-Powered Noise Cancellation Software
As I am not a professional producer of content (e.g. mic recording), do these AI assistants really make that much of a difference if you already have a decent microphone?
It's not about that. I think it filters stuff that is annoying in other ppl's mic chatter like background noises and someone breathing into his mic.
On Discord, everyone has option to enable pretty good background noise cancelation by krisp. You can be clapping your hands while talking and people will not know. Computer noise? Kitchen noise? Car outside? Not a problem. On conferences, it should be mandatory.
Am I the only old school computer scientist and engineer who is getting tired day by day, due to this AI trend and news in everything nowadays? Soon we will get AI chips in our brain cells or what?
This, and it should be integrated into the conferencing SW, because you shouldn't have to depend on everyone having updated drivers and configurations.
I mean, I never hear myself, but I know a few people who could use that (or enable krisp in disc which I use daily). Thanks for the feedback you two
I wish we'd have games with real AI tbh. Just think about enemies learning from past mistakes and challenging you with different approaches as a defense mechanism. Don't tell me you wouldn't love that!
