Thanks for the great reviews! <3 i5-10600KF looks really good. But we all know what will happen when Ryzen 4600 hits the stores... (i am still waiting Ampere, stuck on this i7 4770k for so long, and still enough on 1080p for me)

The people upgrading from a 9900 to a 10900 will possibly do a lot of DPS to their wallets :p

Fixes included? Performance back? IPC test says otherwise.
When I consider what people can expect from Zen3 which is behind corner... Just do not buy it now. Prices will shift a lot.

Indeed,do not forget the Ryzen 3000 series have almost 1 year from release vs actual "new" Intel's cpu.
Ryzen 4000 will coming like a storm over actual or future Intel cpus, because Core arch is done.
And do not forget you need a new motherboard(LGA 1200,really???),a new water cooling system and a maybe a new Psu.Worth to spend a lot of money for ~5-10% perf over Ryzen 3000?

Can't wait to see the new arch from Intel in 2021-2022 made it in colaboration with saviour Jesus Jim Keller. :)

    Why on this page
    https://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/intel_core_i9_10900k_processor_review,26.html

The 10900K having lower score than the bellow 3 CPUs is higher on the ranking?
    Surely the 7900X (13684) 9900KS (13649) 9900K (13640) should be above the 10900K (13601) given the result.

Damn, the 10600k crushing it at gaming vs AMD

    10600k vs 3700x 1080p gaming
    1. Assassin's Creed 109fps vs 89fps
    2. Far Cry 5 169fps vs 133fps
    3. RotTR 223fps vs 191fps

^ I dont see the 1% results in games.

Ofc Ryzen 3000 (2019) vs Intel Core (2020) and Ofc Intel is a year behind vs Ryzen 4000 series. :D

10600k and 3700X cost about the same, am4 boards are cheaper. 1440p performance would be even closer and if your streaming beside gaming having 16threads will do better and not needing to close everything else.

It all depends what you do on your system. If you are 1080p 2080ti gamer then you are not doing it right.

Here in Norway 10600kf is 2990kr and 3700x is 3749kr.
    "Cost about the same"

If not everyone do it you're way, they to it wrong :p

1440p is the new 1080p with new gen GPU's, so someone will change their mind :p

Looks like "streamers" mostly use shadowplay or capture card no mater how many cores they have.

PS: I don't buy 10600k/kf anyway. Only 9-10 pcs of 10900k/kf for overclocking fun :D

The 10600k is the new thing, is unclear how much availability you will find, you cannot compare prices the first batch of orders.
    is not a fair compare.

It depends on how much context switching happen.
Context switching costs, and with 6 cores it happen way less compared to 4/8.
    I would take a 6/6 over a 4/8 on similar generation

@nizen- Yep,but nobody as casual user will buy liquid nitrogen or helium to play with this cousin of Fx 9k.And the cost for another newer motherboard dont worth it. :)

Purely for games, the 10600k is cheaper and performs better. It's a win win in this regard. Also the Assassin's Creed win for less cores, hey?

About the AM4 boards, a $200 Z490 board will be head and shoulders above any B450. Period. You can't compare the B450 Tomahawk with it's 4 layer PCB and 4+2 VRM phases, limited USB ports etc to a Z490 board. You get what you pay for.
That's what I was thinking the other day, looking at the spec sheets of the upcoming Nvidia GPUs. I have no doubt that the 3080 and 3080ti will make 4k playable at over 60fps quite comfortably. 4k will become the new 1440p. I remember jumping on 1440p some 6 years ago and it was hit and miss, but now it's a doddle. Same will happen with 4k.

Drag race with 10k HP cars is not worth it for most people, but someone actually do it for fun and hobby :D

+1 from me multithread is great technology but 6/6 has more raw power than 4/8 the second one is just better on getting advantage of the spots a cpu core wait for something else to proceed to the next calculation or unused parts of it ... So i would also take 6/6 over 4/8 any time any day.
