GeForce Hotfix Driver version 445.98

    This fixed HDR games being too bright for me.

    until they are back at work with all their on metal test setups, it is what it is.

    I didn't install the RTX voice, but it seems after reinstall again it works fine.

    I use the NvCleanInstall program

    445.87 and .98 messes up some UWP stuff here. Elements in the Speakers section of the Realtek app disappear/reappear when move the mouse over it, e.g.:

    And tooltips in every UWP app and the Start menu have a weird shadow effect:

    UPDATE: Found the cause, was wrongly set to 12 bpc instead of 8 bpc in the nvidia control panel.

    Some games may appear very bright when HDR is enabled ???
    lol all games too dark for my poor lg 34 display

    Not so much when using DSR. In Crash Bandicoot it wouldn't scale the output to the screen, resulting a huge chunk of the game being cut.

    quick question.. if i DL/install these new drivers thru Geforce experience, do they remove the Control panel and install the useless DCH one ?

    So is the common factor Steam Beta client or the driver?

    I won't try this set I think if Doom Eternal may have issues.

    Isn't that the DPI bug that happens in UE games?

    Thats not usually a driver issue, at the worst scale its a failing graphics card (and yes, sometimes older drivers will be easier on these and not antagonise the weakness) and more often then not its stupid CPUID / Task manager crashing the cards smbus
