I set a custom fan curve for my GPU in afterburner. However, that fan curve is being overridden somehow. I deleted all other fan software from my pc. There is a fan control in my bois, but there is no GPU fan curve. The fans spin up to 3100 rpm, which is max. However HWINFO64, shows that my fan percent is what is set in afterburner Afterburner fan control does work when the pc is idle (low temps), it is only with high temps that something takes over my fans.

    Define "High temps".

I talked with MSI, this problem is specific to the OC version of the card, they will not replace it.

Are you saying that is by design? Seems a bit low, temp wise. GPU's generally use around 80C as the typical operating temp under load.

Yes, they programmed this by design. They said at 70C the fans will go up to 100% RPM. No program can disable this. This is set in vbios. I asked if I could change vbios, and they said vbios is only changed under the most extreme cases when the card doesn't work.
