Very nice I've had my 2400g/2600/gtx1080 folding off and on every day.

Superb! I'm running it on 3x computers at home now!

I am also running Rosetta@Home, they have lots of COVID-19 tasks too! More available than F@H

I've been using World Community Grid since it started and I really don't know why other people have not used this. The research is for the benefit of mankind, not some private company trying to entice you.

Personally, if they treated the Folding at Home like Crypto currency, more people would do it.
Cryto is just a complex math calculation, exactly the same as WCG or FAH, so if people used their noodle more and more benefits to mankind and maybe make some money on the side is a win win. Crypto in comparison is selfish and benefits just one person.

Anyway, I have suspended my WCG in favour of FAH for now.

i've been folding@home since before the novel coronavirus, but i switched my folding from cancer to Covid-19. i'm very grateful to all gurus who've joined the effort.

It's nice to see more people getting into distributed computing. I have one machine running folding@home while all the others are running BOINC. Hopefully they'll continue donating CPU/GPU cycles to science after this crisis is over.

Well, I tried this, but due sudden black screen/ ctd issues had to stop it. I have radeon7.
This program for some reason preffered CPU use, than rad, so it was killing my game experience (while one or two times on gpu was fine, well, until sudden freez).
Maybe that was my software combination too, I use iCUE from corsair, but until folding all was good, so, I had to remove it. Sorry

Remove any OC's on the Radeon as that was my downfall on my 5700XT. That is if there are any. At least on the newest 2020 drivers as the prior drivers were just fine...

Does this only occur on GPU? It's not using my CPU?

it works on all. CPU only up to 32 cores though. So I only get like 81-83 percent of usage out of my 3960X when it does throw a WU/WS at it. All four of my GPU's have no issues slamming some down though...

That just means there is nothing being asked of your computer as there is no work ie no Work Unit's. I know they are trying hard to make use of all the extra compute but so many have stepped up there is a surplus of compute power. So this is a good thing.

Nice, but have you requested a passkey? Cause your points would go through the roof then :)

That's because there are no WU's available right now. Just be patient, or pause and then restart the cpu client (right click on cpu:15 line).
That will reset the waiting timer.
