Schools lockdown in Italy will be extended probably to 6th of May.

 

I can tell from 2nd hand the symptoms or better yet what it does..

A friend in NL probably had it, i think he's 90% sure it was that.. A couple returned from China and was infected, farm 3km away from him.

Anyway a week later he got ill, now after 3weeks he says he's ok but the lung capacity still isn't quite right.


When it was the worst 1week after he said he had severe lung volume issues, like only 50% capacity and he said it felt like he had 40kg weight on his chest.


He at idk 80% -90% now , still not completely it but its ok..


That said no wonder elderly with weak immune system take the biggest hit, already weak lungs add this compression and suffocation on top and it's a prefect killer..

Here is my view on this situation over here, panic buying here its crazy, getting Paracetamol or ibuprofen or any antibiotics its simply impossible, most of Tesco or Asda ir even Aldi are out of stock, bread good luck with that, buying here, milk no milk in 6 stores which I visited today and yesterday, toilet paper or any tissue its impossible to get again, pasta or even caned food again good luck to get that here, I'm so disappointed by people here and elsewhere

My appointment with my GP is cancelled till further notice, my operation has been cancelled or rather postponed till further notice as well

Take one or 2 cloves of garlic with food each day as an anti biotic.
More if you are in real trouble.
It works. Expect it to take as long as normal anti biotics to work. I find garlic slightly quicker.

Dont get the cheap packs of 3 or 5 bulbs, they are crap as an anti biotic. True in the UK, maybe elsewhere.
Get single ones from Tesco/Sainsburys etc, 30p for each bulb. Most of these work well, fresher (less shrunk) is best.

Ibuprofen and similar anti-inflamatories are reported not to be the best thing to take with this virus, they can make it feel worse.
Paracetamol is best.

Good luck finding garlic in shops there, you will not find the garlic in shops, empty shelves mate

Agree with ibuprofen there and regarding the Paracetamol, I personally don't need that, wanted only for my sister which have two young children and they're always have flu and for my mom, sadly its impossible to get it

You posted before about taking garlic as a big help in overall health and wellness.
Yes, it stinks to high heaven but it works a wonder.
Took your advice since then, got used to eat 2 cloves a day. Lots of benefits and all natural.

And about paracetamol or something...
Modern society forgot that fever is a natural body response to illness/infection.
The best approach is to let the body fight with infection with fever...the key is avoid damages above 41,5 C°. And there are so few cases worldwide where a pacient went above that temperature. The body has a internal mechanism able to tone down harmful fever harmfull to the body.
We as kids were let to "sweat it out" and my parents were looked upon like they were cruel and insane. But not taking antipyretics and antibiotics just because strengthened out immune system.
Lots of friends always complain about having two months cold or flu...and pumping pills like chewing gum. Hey, everyone is free to do whatever.
