Meanwhile there are studies about pm10 as vector for the virus.

For now only statistics, final and true scientifics studies are still WIP or not published. But that could explain why in China and in some regions of north of Italy it spread so much quickly while not in other parts of Europe, even on those regions where it came first.
edit: another issue: in Italy there is a never-ending political fight about from when it comes all those PM10 in those regions... The true looks like it comes from multiple sources (vehicles - mostly diesel, old incinerators, pallet combustions and of course - and mostly - factories since it lowers on weekends). I live in the north but in a region without all this pollution issues and the infected increment were always mostly linear.

That's what's happening if people act as if they only would be infectious when they have symptoms. That's a few days too late. Hence the general shut down in many countries, minimizing the infection via carries who are not yet showing symptoms.

We've had to introduce a 2000 euro fine for breaking quarantine now. People suck.

No offense toward anyone or any nationality, but come on, tourists here in Spain going places as nothing happens.
Police had a full day and will fine and confine those who think this is bs.
More, those who cause infection and spreading this disease, should be charged with manslaughter.
Why on blue loved planet Earth should someone lose their beloved one because ones "have " to go places and party as nothing matters?

It was a bit strange heading into my local weed store and seeing them all gloved up, and you could not handle any product prior to purchase. Anyhow picked up an oz of Doc Croc FI for $200. Can't beat that with a stick. I bypassed food shopping. I'm good for awhile. Walmart is 24 hour here so I'll pick a day and hit them up around 4 am when no one is around. I'm one of those folks in the extreme high risk group due to a rare lung disease. Good thing my nearest neighbor is a mile away as the crow flies...can deer or raccoon....

Shows China only has about 9000 active infected people left...

Now the reportings from China are really accurate, they test more than the rest of the world, despite having it botched at the start.

Would make sense as well, seeing their death count pretty much came to a stand still past 3000.

Hmm... I'm not sure I'd vouch for the accuracy of China's numbers...they have a checkered past.

I agree with Hemi why would anyone believe anything China says.

And I hope the world pulls its business out of China after the threats they have made.

Today AIFA (the Italian Pharmacological Agency) gave the OK to expand the Tocilizumab trial on over 300 patients.

After he posted that, I did some more reading. It appears from outside sources that China may have reached peak in their worst areas. They are now seeing more cases of infection from outside the area versus inside transmission according to reports from the WHO. I'd say in another 2 weeks we will have a much better idea of the spread among other populations. Our govt here in the US failed us by not having the testing available much sooner and in larger quantities. With that testing, isolation of groups could have been done much sooner and we'd have a much more accurate idea of the methods of transmission.

Well bud our governments failed by not shutting down people moving out of China back in early January, no one not even the WHO took this seriously. The only one to blame is the Chinese government ultimately. At home try and support what ever effort is needed.

China only had 1 infected person today in Wuhan, they're past their peak of the crisis they said.

They mainly seem to be getting backflow infections, from people that return back to China coming from other countries. And those people go into quarantine anyways.

Did they bury the other suspected before they could test them ...
I dont mean that but why do you believe it so readily?
