I have seen more than an hour of gameplay, which is more than enough for me to know that 94% is an artificial number coming out of their a... Similar to many other reviewers giving games 10/10 just because...
I had zero issues with Rage 2 prior to Denuvo's removal. As with any other Denuvo game. To me PCG's reviews are often on the mark. They praise good games but giving a high score doesn't mean there wouldn't be criticism as well. Neither does a low(er) score mean there wouldn't be good things too. Also being PC Gamer they focus on PC specific things, often better than other sources. However I linked that article to show one example review prior to launch. Which seems to indicate the game will be just what was hoped it would be. Not to establish PCG's score as some basemark or promote them. On a personal note this game if any is one where I don't care whether it's given 1 or 10 of 10. I've liked all iD's prior games and have no reason to believe this would be anything but a further refinement of everything that has come before it. Last but not least guys, are things like DRM and ultimately arbitrary review scores really the things you want to focus on at launch? The game itself's what should matter. If it starts, runs well and plays well, I don't care what DRM it may or may not use (PCG review mentions solid 1080p60 w/ max settings w/ GTX 1650 so I wouldn't expect much performance issues).
These early "official" reviews... every one of them are completely misguided, mostly attempting to please the distributor, unless there is some hate-wave running through the internet.
It's only 37GBs? Interesting... have they got rid of megatextures completely now? EDIT: Yes they have. Finally.
Yep one from cdkeys and d/l from Bethesda. I did not get an email from cdkeys telling game is available but checking the link from order confirmation had a key now.
I bought it from Steam. Some people did have problems with Denuvo in Rage2 and it for sure does not improve performance, only decreases it and causes problems. I hope that we don't have to focus on DRM at launch and it plays well. I don't have very good PC a the moment and monitor is 2560x1440 so rather not have any extra crap eating resources.
Thanks. So Game here in the UK are selling the game now, Cmon Bethesda move the steam launch forwards.
That's the "master levels" thingy they have. Once completing the game you can replay all the levels with extra difficulty, like all the late game demons right in the first level. EDIT: and also with all weapons and gear you had while completing the game.
