    Excellent, I'll include it in third party database in the next version (not in 4.6.2)

    Hi guys, can you please help me with MSI Lightning RTX 2080 Ti (MP2888A) ? Want to get it to work on LN2, I know it can go up to 1.6v, but ive managed with : VDDC_MP2888A_Detection = 15h this line get only +100mv on core voltage as offset.
    I want a Direct voltage.

    I was wondering why my Sapphire Nitro+ RX 570 4GB was being misidentified as a RX 580 in AB user interface...

    [IMG]

    For some reason, they have the same device ID, suggested for the RX 580 in post #176 on page 9.

    For my card, /i2cd dumps don't reveal anything, but
    MSIAfterburner.exe /ri6,20,99 /ri6,20,9a
    gives:
    Code:
    I2C    06 20 99     : 1a
    I2C    06 20 9a     : 22
    which is similar to NCP81022; just the 9a value is 22h instead of 1022h. Am I using it wrong, or is it perhaps a different controller?

    A couple important quotes, which will help you:

    "The controller is identified by 2-byte register 99h (must be equal to 001Ah) and 2-byte register 9Ah (must be equal to 1022h). "
    ..
    "Also take a note that all I2C read and write commands work with 1-byte I2C device registers by default. However, you may use access mode forcing command /fm2 to force 2-byte register access mode and /fm1 command to force 1-byte register access mode back if necessary."

    Ah, ok, missed that.

    MSIAfterburner.exe /fm2 /ri6,20,99 /ri6,20,9a
    gives the required values of 001Ah and 1022h, so it's NCP 81022.

    Now all that remains is to decide whether the RX 580 entry is good (I doubt it, must be a typo there somewhere), and if not, replace it with:
    Code:
    [VEN_1002&DEV_67DF&SUBSYS_E3661DA2&REV_??]

    ; Sapphire Nitro+ RX 570 4GB

    Desc                                    = Sapphire Nitro+ RX 570
    VDDC_NCP81022_Detection                 = 6:20h

    570 and 580 share the same PCI DeviceID

    Unwinder I sent you a PM regarding the 2080ti Kingpin, I have a i2C dump if you want it. I know the card has multiple voltage controllers.

    Can someone give me some insight on how to read all this code? I've read the Original post over and over and over and none of it makes any sense to me.

    Well I kinda got this working with the help of a friend. Would be nice if the developer would respond instead of just leaving me hanging, I mean he could of just told me to F off at the bare minimum.

    Would be nice if you don't act like a kid with zero patience level. I spent a few weeks with a serious flu and 39C, but who F cares, right? I need my damn voltage and immediate answer...

    It is not EVGA forum.

    I mean you could have responded to my PM and said that and I would have left it at that, but multiple visits to the forum and no response kinda felt like you wanted nothing to do with it.

    You could be paying him to be your personal assistant too...entitled jerk. Holy cow, you should get down on your knees and beg for forgiveness. This is why he spends less and less time here.

    This has nothing to do with you so no reason for you to respond.
    At the end of the day I got this working with the help of Slovak_Killer who just so happened to have asked for help in post #183 on Dec 6 and never got a response but another user got a response after his.

    Nobody is gonna take you by the hand and teach it to you, clearly you'll have to learn "BINARY CODE" on your own. First learn what it is,(linked) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binary_code

    Someone needs to give you feedback on how badly you are acting. Otherwise, you'll just continue to act badly. I see it as my business as a member of society. Have a nice day.

    I heard the UP9512P has I2C support, this is based on Elmor and Buildzoid (Actually Hardcore Overclocking) stating this. MSI does use this voltage controller on their RTX 2080 Ti Gaming X Trio Graphics card. Is it possible to add direct voltage control for this voltage controller in the next version of MSI Afterburner?
