i don't know how much they cost in your region but i bought Sound BlasterX H5 Tournament Edition Gaming Headset a while back for about that price and have found them to be the best headphones i have ever used. The mic is detachable which is a nice bonus. I been through a lot of headphones and these are the best. other headphones can't survive being dropped. I've dropped these maybe 2 dozen times. the connected parts are very durable with actual metal unlike many other headphones.
Phillips SHP9500 + V Moda Boom Pro Trust me, these are excellent headphones and they destroy my HD558's in every single way.
Audio Technica ATH-M50X or ATH-M40X I have ones and they're my favourite headphones to the date Beyer Dynamic DT770 are good too, but personally I prefer Audio Technica Hope this helps Thanks, Jura
If you can, i suggest you find a place that will let you listen to the headphones mentioned, so you know for sure that you will like them. Plus any others that not mentioned.
SHP9500 only destroys itself with bloated bass and sharp treble. Might be good for bass heads and EDM? HD558 at least got rather neutral sound. HD599 can be found on the sale with OP price mentioned, which probably the best pick for the budget.

Me too. They're a great headphone for the price, especially when on sale. Not perfect of course but they make up for it in comfort, enjoyment, and build quality. In my opinion. I don't want to upset anyone
The cans turned up today. I tried them with my AE5 and all good apart from when I first started to listen, I had them on the wrong way around which made them sound muddy. Doh! I am now swapping out my MP3's on my Windows phone. Yes that's windows phone for full fat music files. As the groove music app is actually good.
Not quite sure how to take this. I don't find these headphones have much bass at all tbh its quiet subdued and the treble to me is soft not sharp at all. Where these headphones destroy my HD588's is in voice/vocal clarity, the sound stage these come with seem to make voices sound so crisp and clear it seems to bring the vocals forward and the music is pushed back a little. For the price these are the best open back headphones I have ever used and then you have the build quality too. They are insanely comfortable, the clamping force is absolute perfection. I can wear these all day and never get any irritation or pain around my head or ears. My HD588's on the other hand I can only wear for a few hours and then I have to take them off.
If I was to buy a new pair of headphones today it would be the same pair I already have, Sennheiser HD 280 Pro... in my opinion they are perfect. The only thing negative I can say about them is the ear cushions deteriorate after about 5 years, but you can get replacements.
