BFV/BF1 really don't like any FPS limiter.
    No Chill, FRT or RTSS

Make file user.cfg (in main directory).
    Perfoverlay.drawfps 0
    RenderDevice.Dx11Dot1Enable 1
    EntityFrustumCull.Enable 1
    RenderDevice.ForceRenderAheadLimit 3
    GameTime.MaxVariableFps 142
    WorldRender.MotionBlurEnable 0

and report back in Vega thread.

    Note:
Playing BFV every day (DX11 + Reshade) :p -> smooth as butter.

Hi everyone i own vega 56. when i activate Hbcc and any game exceeds 8 gb, the game i tested crashes. My tests are on Resident Evil 7, RE 2 Remake, and the demo of Middle earth shadow of war. Windows 10 operating system with all updates. Anyone with vega who can confirm me this huge bug?

For me it's working for every game, but is not working (20.1.4 tested) in Division 2.
Thus i have it OFF for now.

If You have issue then just turn it off.

    Need to test 20.2.2....

Even for me it works Hbcc. The problem occurs when a game exceeds 8Gb Vram. For example, at maximum settings the games I tested crashed all. So the test must be performed, on a game exceed 8GB of Vram. For the test I recommend Resident Evil 7, Residdent Evil 2 Remake or the demo of Middle earth shadow of war,
at the maximum possible setting. The important thing is that the game exceeds 8GB of vram

    Edit:
I tried with the old drivers (to be exact 19.11.3), the problem magically disappears. So this new adrenalin 2020 contains this huge bug, too bad to have to lose this feature.

Notice that too. Also looking the frequency to 1900-2000 seems to make frequency more stable and games smoother and for some migical reason even on desktop temps and wattage is low.

Disabling HBCC did the trick. No more crashes in BFV in Borderless mode, at least I could finish the first episode now which did crash reliably before. The comment from @Kionesha reminded me that I had enabled it.

Running fine here, playing Division 2 and Doom right now, Chrome runs fine.

Also noticed idle clocks are higher, that's fine, it doesn't effect temps and power consumption only went up a few watts, if it helps with stability good.

Keep going AMD, there are some issues to resolve (although none effect me) but there always will be, it's why AMD and Nvidia release constant driver updates.

    Good drivers.

I also have an issue with HBCC, and was forced to disable it to play The Division 2, The game gives a BSOD with HBCC on and at DX12 at the loading screen to the main menu. Vega64 here

Just to clear up a source of misinformation (that the AMD reddit is), the chrome 81 fix added a device block for Radeon gpu's for a feature that AMD is exposing but doesn't support properly in their drivers.

So the issue is purely a bug in AMD's end that AMD should rectify.

Do you have enabled auto reboot on BSOD? if you do, disable it. Choose kernel memory dump to be saved.

There is a HBCC Memory Segment Bug for Vega cards

At The Division 2 (a game that uses a lot o VRAM) with HBCC Memory Segment ON the games gives a BSOD at the loading screen before the main menu when running at DX12, and no BSOD, but visual glitches and miss display of colors, when running at DX11 at Ultra settings and run without a problem at High (but underperforming, since at my PC I can get at the game’s benchmark at DX11, high settings ,HBCC ON 93 FPS and at DX12, ultra settings, HBCC OFF 92 fps).
PSS: my GPU is running in a PCI-E x8 since my motherboard shares It's PCI-E lanes with a WI-Fi adapter and NVMe drive. I also use DDR3

    Hi
Same problem when I play Arma 3 crashes, artifacts or Bsods. I think the last driver it works is 19.4.3, after this crashes.
I report many times to AMD.
    I have to disable HBCC

Maybe I trie with the last driver.

@LM2014 If you get BSOD, save DMP file as kernel memory dump and share it.
