Yes, I did also came to this exact conclusion and posted similar findings in the MSI forums. While not necessary for single-GPU-builds, from the description I'd think this option enabled would be the preferred method on 64-bit OSes [Linux logs show some differences in PCIe memory addressing, I've posted the logs here: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/issues/1039]. And as this issue doesn't show up in Linux which also makes use of x2APIC, I think it is Windows-specific.

 

The setting is specifically for PCIE remapping beyond a hypervisor, its not required on gaming system.

Hehe, I came across that link during my research, too. I have to admit that I lack a bit of in-depth technical knowledge to comprehend it fully, though [after all I am not a hw engineer]. To my limited understanding, that option might offer a more efficient path for mapping memory between PCIe devices and the CPU.

Does anyone else have issues with the Crosshair on CoD:MW ?
Tried different Drivers and ingame settings no affect. :/
It came after the game got updated in November since than i have this viusal bug.

@MaestroBayten it happens with some NVIDIA cards too, bug the devs to fix it
