Hmmmm ... sounds scary .... I am with you mate, and I bet most of the other gurus are as well.

I already digged into their terms and conditions ... HELL, you did read them, right? Even those sound phishy, really. Why can it be on one hand they say "it is advised to do the trading through their payment services", on the other hand "users should settle their claims themselves" and "Wallapop isnt resonsible for anything" AND (if that wouldnt be enough already) "Wallapop will decide whats best for both parties". Or how should I translate this:

And yes, I understand a bit of Spanish but I have to confess I used Google translate and only double checked the output by reading relevant sentences again in Spanish. :D

All in all I think you have ... successfully ... been scammed.

I will send you something confidential by PM ... :D

    EDIT:
Sending from the US to Spain will invoke customs, so probably it will be better to "sell it" for 1$ instead of a "present". Please inform yourself. Would be bad for @anticupidon to get a GPU and pay 100$ customs extra. I dont know customs rules exactly, and absolutely not for Spain, so just saying ... ;)

YEs, the Wallapop platform is shady as hell, as i lately found out.
This thread deserves an update, as you guys showed real interest and helped me out.
    Updates:

I sat down and made a huge effort to calm myself and think rationally. Everything can be solved if cold , hard logic is applied. So what I did.

First, looked again at all those evidence and the problem is twofold. By exploiting the Wallpop policy, the guy made it in his favour. But also he complained to me that the bank still hasn't paid him a dime, so I really don't know what to think anymore.
But I talked with Wallpop on their official Twitter chanel and got to talk with a human being and explained the whole deal. He/ she pointed me to send a email with all details and have their department of dispute re check the whole situation. This is where I am now. Sent all that I ve got and I am waiting for an answer. I know that this could be a very long wait.

On the other hand, didn't know or even thought about customs. I rarely receive parcels from overseas and this is that.
Now, if there is a cost to that , I'll pay it. Now, I prefer that money goes in @SweenJM's pocket , not customs.
But that is not in my power to change or anything. I am just waiting for things to happen, I try to maintain my calm and sanity, I really need those.

    Hello guys!
I thought to update this thread.
After a long time and various emails and back and forth paperwork with my bank, I was reimbursed with the amount I was scammed.
So, after all this time, I can have my peace of mind.
Now, after I am left with a broken GPU, as the scammer doesn't respond to any form of communication. I wanted to give him back the broken GPU, but I haven't heard boo from him.
Will ask for help in another section of the forums as I will try to fix that broken GPU.

One time a guru, always a guru.
You should've strapped him to a chair made of GPUs for his senses to become clear. :D

(Just joking. But he was one of the nice guys here, I'll miss him.)
