We wont see any "halo" GPU from AMD this year. :( AMD is too busy sealclubbing their 50 years arch-rival. :D

Ryzen platform is what content creators asked for so many years from Intel and never got.

The Best part is - AMD can push even more cores without any issue thanks to the chiplet design.

screw Intel and dell they try to slow down AMD from adding more cores. AMD easily can do up to 128 cores without problem. Are they at this dirty game again?

Or, release 8/12 core variants of them priced accordingly....

Maybe. There is a physical limitation:
They could maybe fit another 32 cores on the package, but I wouldn't keep my hopes up for that. I think they're going to need to go down to 5nm if they want to reach 96 cores, not just to make sure they can physically fit, but also to make power delivery more manageable.

Not like it matters. For now, this 64-core TR is still going to be woefully out-of-reach to most consumers, and at least at one point AMD was struggling to keep up with demand after the release of Zen2, so it's not like they're in a rush to release a better product.

I think glue is too thick and that is why TR 7nm looks limited to 64 cores only...

    Nice CPU.
On a side note...there appears to be some 'interesting' new licensing models which are about to hit >32 core CPU's - I wonder if anyone can disconnect Intel's much publicised '$3 billion set-aside for anti-competitive uses', their current 28-core per CPU business model and......VMware's recent...eh...announcement??

So start switching from VMWare to Oracle VB?

I'm sure Oracle would be more than happy to gain market-share in the virtualization business by offering a licensing model that doesn't disadvantage 64-core CPUs.
