    @PrEzi

    It might be PCIe Bus driver bug, try to install earlier drivers.
    Try -> 1.11.22.454

    PCIe Bus
    AMD PCI = 1.0.0.74 (New is 0.75)

    Which one do you mean exactly ? For which component ? I hate to install old stuff that (possibly) doesn't support TRX40...

    just found out that I already had the 1.0.0.74 so I now upgraded to 1.0.0.75.
    I thought I did it already but the installer errored out so I uninstalled old, reinstalled new, this time without problems, and checked the version is 1.0.0.75.

    BTW --- turning the HW acceleration off in flash didn't help. I just got another black screen... Now let's check with the PCI driver 1.0.0.75 if this solves anything...

    For my setup the 1.0.0.74 is better.

    Ok I just installed a new fresh copy of w10(latest) and the newest drivers from Amd (5700xt,am4 470x) gpu+chipset and all of my games Ac odyssey, league of legends, darksiders 3,farming simulator 2019,Senuas sacrifice after 20-25 seconds are returning in desktop and I have to click the icon in taskbar to return to the game tried many things to solve the issue even reverting back to previous graphic driver the only thing that helped me was to install again the latest driver that by default enables the 10 bit color depth,now my monitor supports HDR but i don't like it so I was changing the color depth to 8 bit but this time I left it 10bit and all my games except AC odyssey are running normal what a strange bug.Sorry for my bad English.

    I think this is new to me, on a 890GX/SB850 board 20.1.4 installed amdkmpfd.sys 19.20.1.10, file dated 27/01/2020 (has a ms signature with this date), with DriverVer=03/20/2019, 19.20.0.1000 on inf. Show as "Pci Bus" on Device Manager, as usual.
    Edit: Nvm, previous drivers had same version but older signature.

    So neither the 1.0.0.75 or 1.0.0.74 PCI driver had made any difference.... Black screen yesterday in the late evening.
    I am out of ideas...

    How does it happens? Latency issue from OS startup and then total system freeze with a black screen?

    Hmm... no, no latency issues except some very rare spikes. Everything is perfectly stable (games, movies via MPCHC or MPCBE) and also YT videos playing without any problems.
    I never turn the rig off so no sleep mode hibernate etc. Then in a very random way when watching YT the screen goes all black, sound from the video is still playing for 5-10 seconds (but the keyboard doesn't react anymore // capslock) and then the audio starts to hic up more and more and in the next 3 seconds it freezes.
    Hard lock, reset needed.
    Sometimes it happens after a few videos, sometimes after a few days...

    I might add that this seemed to be an issue with the Adrenaline 2020 drivers... Now I reverted back to 19.12.1.

    Was thinking of asking how it looks in your case. I don't get black screens - picture freezes(game music continues...). Browser(not just YT) would also just freeze, but at least that's fixed by turning off HW acceleration(only for the browser, not Flash...).

    I was just about to make a comment here about having a hardlock crash / blackscreen and then saw your comment, I was looking at a webpage at the time... it is the first such crash type I've ever had with this system while just looking at a webpage, the only difference is the driver.

    I think I'll revert back to a previous driver too.

    You can try disabling HW acceleration for your browser, if the driver is otherwise working well for you. Fixed that issue for me.

    Seems strange that this is so rare - it could take days before I see a crash...

    I've had my system for a while now so I can tell if something is not right with it, the issue was the driver.

    I didn't say the driver isn't to blame. I said the opposite. I gave you a possible work-around.

    Maybe there is a language barrier. I had to cross it too...
