Might try it in the evening, a bit scared, also it seems hard to configure the fan curve, since of course AMD comes with broken fan curve, not to mention driver issues for over half a year.

It seems they might be waiting to fix things with the next BIG/FANCY-SHMANCY release at the end of the year... Though, they might be too busy "supporting" NAVI 2...

screen flickering only happened to me on pre 19.12.3 and only when using a fan profile via afterburner

Didn't even use afterburner, because it collided with the drivers in a bad way, crashes etc.

One should not use wattman with afterburner.

Anyone with a 5700/XT tried Frostpunk with these yet? I keep getting system locks with the 3s. Game stops and shortly after mouse movement as well.
Tried lowering CPU speed by 500MHz. Disabled HT. Loosened RAM timings. Played with BIOS voltages. Played with driver settings... Same as with some other games - driver crashing seems to be the issue.

UPDATE: Seems to be fine with V-SYNC On...

UPDATE2: Nope. Set it to 120hz in game instead of 144hz and still crashed. Going to try 59hz...

UPDATE3: Looks like the only way to stop crashes is to set Windows refresh to something other than my 144hz. 120hz seems solid.

UPDATE4: 120hz locked-up. No black screen - stuck at game image. Will try w/o Auto-Undervolt...

Still experiencing exactly the same disappearing and reappearing texture problems with my 5700 xt when playing Modern Warfare, the only driver that appears to work correctly is the 19.12.1.
All drivers from 19.12.2 up to and including 20.1.4 all cause the problem of disappearing and reappearing textures.
I see no mention or acknowledgement of this problem by AMD.

What about game developers? Did they ackownolege the issue and if they working with amd on fixing it? No, the activision dont give a crap about their broken game. Youtube is full of videos of the game with some graphical gliches and bugs.

all hardware acceleration back on and 144hz refresh too not black screens nothing

still the odd drops in clocks on some games cause a stutter or 2 but its getting better all the same

Do you have any specific AMD only features enabled like Anti-Lag, Image Sharpening?

I've tried with lots of different settings and still come to the same conclusion all drivers from 19.12.2 up to and including 20.1.4 all cause the problem of disappearing and reappearing textures.

Also if this is a game issue why do drivers before 19.12.2 work.

I had also issues with drivers higher than 19.4.3- that got solved by doing amdcleanutility and before restart i run DDU ,but also that MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall.meta.diagcab helped me updating the driver correctly .
Also used the MicrosoftProgram_Install_and_Uninstall.meta.diagcab updating the X470 chipset i have which also worked .
So the 2020 driverset changed alot for me, every update is welcome.

I also hope they get those drivers fixed with Navi-users !!!

Not sure if depends on this driver, but dropping to 120hz from 144hz in Windows may have fixed my system lock-ups. Testing acceleration of Firefox now... Not ideal, but pretty good if this is the fix. For ideal, I just may have to try Nvidia next time - I want my 144hz)

Maybe AMD doesn't care about us LTSC users.
