Hi just upgraded my HD 7950 to RX 5700.
The question is how much performance im losing running this card with
    CPU i7 3770K, PCIe v3 and in x8 ?

Depends on the game whether a CPU restricts framerate.
ie how much CPU the game needs to run acceptable framerate.
The gfx card has no impact on the CPUs ability to run acceptable framerate, unless you change to dual card.

That's a hell of an upgrade.

    This.
Even though 3770k will hold it back it would be a massive upgrade

Same 'problem' here with a 3930k and a 1080Ti. I've no problem running games high/ultra. But what a waste of good GPU performance.
Still, on the verge of so many CPU/Mobo/Ram changes, I'll have to play the waiting game.

Well 3930k have 6c/12t arguably much better than these 4 cores with or without ht. I also have one and paired with some fast ram its capable still.
