Ok so same issue I previously experienced. If the audio was playing, would it continue to play normal? That's what used to happen to me. Anyways, I am just curious why I don't experience the issue with 20.1.1-3 and you still do. What about settings? Did you try to disable all the AMD settings. I have mine all disabled and Hardware acceleration in applications as well. I enabled anti-lag and will test some games.

Also have yet to have it crash with HW Acceleration disabled - seems rock solid, and performance is good enough)

yes everything in the background runs normal, just the screen goes blank and loses input from the GC

Hmm I guess you can't actually see that Windows is frozen if that is the case for you as well. I have the second monitor connected to the iGPU with Rainmeter and Discord running and when it used to happen, system freezes. No input, rainmeter frozen, just the audio continues to play like normal. What I never tried is unplugging and re-plugging both monitors.

These are the best of the 2020 drivers for me.
Was getting some mad artifacting across all monitors on 20.1.2, 2 days in on this and it literally hasn't missed a beat. Even moving windows around seems smoother and less glitchy.

Wow, AMD just plain old removed Crossfire, leaving only Vulkan and DX12 mGPU which are really miss or miss most of the time, because game
There's no support at all, the selector always shows Disabled.
So, there's no 4k 60 FPS option in AMD world now. (without cutting details in half, that is)

And as for game support: Detroit: Become Human = instant crash on Vega if you have 2 of them. Turn one physically off (disable driver or turn off power to the GPU) it stops crashing. Even with ancient 19.4.3 that thing somewhat worked.
Does anyone even test it with more than one GPU present?

And it seems Freesync control is very different again, uses LFC more, seems smoother.

Nvidia's SLI is also dying with next to zero support

SLI/Crossfire is not coming back, and MGPU won't gain any more traction either unless they can manage to make it supported by default in all engines supporting DX12/Vulkan. Otherwise it's only if Nvidia or AMD sponsors it.

I was very disappointed because Hitman 2 apparently removed Multi GPU despite Hitman 1 having it and being awesome

    Fine, if that suits you.

AMD should support a proper sleep cycle and browser acceleration without crashing.

I've gone through the gambit of sleep mode, desktop, games and it's refreshing to not have to worry about black screens any more. Ahhh, refreshing

Same, it never use to happen in browser. It was simply at desktop. I've found that if you were undervolting or overclocking that would always reset back to default settings when it did happen.

Glad they finally optimized for it. I'm guessing you were in the 1000Mhz or lower before?
I know they still have a few more games to optimize for though.
