The Irishman... well I found it good, but too long for what it was. They could have easily shoved half an hour off of that movie here or there to make it work. But generally a good one, although imho not Oscar material. Watched The King on netflix too, which is good, but not great. Worth the watch, but not a second time (like I could watch Braveheart more than once because the battle scenes).
Wonder if there is a similar one for sheepshagging, prolly be in welsh with subtitles Movies ahoy, daughter has got me into netflix, signing up this week, balls to the bbc and the tv license
Seen enough reviews of it soive seen all the action bits and The Critical Drinker isnt enamored with it. Id rather squeeze blackheads.
little women - drama , romantics movie - great acting and story - recommended 8/10 once apon a time in Hollywood - drama , also great acting ,m recommended 8/10 Terminator dark fate - kinda lost its charm already. its not entirely bad, but its not good either 6/10. motherless brooklyn - kind of a weird movie, because its about a detective with la tourrettes syndrom great actors though , 7/10 had some nice moments.
no sex or nudity, not even a tit? terminator dark fate i will skip. motherless in brooklyn, tourettes? hope its on netflix blade runner 2049 hellboy(newer one) shyte. el camino, waste of 2 hours. death of stalin, funny as a fire in an orphanage. the equaliser
a movie where the plot aswell wastes the talent that Mickey rourke has got with his acting chops, rourke here shows excellently how he s devastated after the love of his life abandoned him and left him. angie everhart is eye candy but the same cannot be said about her acting, ruins it here although the tone and the atmosphere of the first film is still there,
Watched 1917 last weekend. While it's not exceptionally good, it is far from bad. I found it intersting that the movie was one-take-ish in it's cinematography, but if you're up for extreme fights and big battles, skip this one. But in terms of directing, I think it's quite well done (although iirc there was a directing "mistake" in the first 20-30 minutes or so, just saying bayonett on and off).
He Never Died on netflix, on my 2nd watch. It does what small budget films do best Henry Rollins is great.
El Camino= 2 hour add on to the series(like a bonus episode)of Breaking Bad. Sorry someone else already covered it, you don't get bk the 2 hours wasted......
I agree with you, is a good film but is hard to watch it in a continuous way due to the lenght, and it's very overrated. Not for watching it again... I recommend Parasite , it's fun to watch , but also kinda overrated imho
Im more of a 80s fan, i just watched: No Man's Land with charlie sheen Fun 80s film about stealing porsches..some beautiful cars in the film and a great score.
