This should be made mandatory for all graphic card manufacturers.

This should be the 5500 we were waiting for, unfortunately it isn't. Prices keeping high sucks for mere mortals, I hope someone makes a groundbreaking advance on how to cut price in half, maintaining the same level of performance.

I wonder why the 8-pin connector is blurred out?....can't wait for review Boss!

Isn't that a plastic cap over the connector?

It is not blurred nor a plastic cap. If you look closely you can see the connector behind the heatpipe. The PCB is a normal height one so the connector is deeper.

    Meanwhile on the other side:

Finally some competition in this field - but it's a limited time offer...

XFX did something similar, where you could remove and replace the fans on some of their coolers....but the fans were utter garbage.... Hopefully Sapphire used decent quality fans and not the kind of low quality garbage that XFX used...

Here's a link to the XFX fans if anyone is interested....lol

Sapphire does this Quick connect fan thing for quite a while now (since 2016 maybe). I think the first cards they made with these fans were Nitro+ ones (RX480 if I'm not wrong). So I think the quality won't be a problem.

It will be rather interesting to test the card with a PCI-E 3.0 motherboard and one with 4.0 and compare the results.
I suspect that will be a difference. Same as 5500XT.
I hope that I am wrong. Will wait for G3D review.

Hilbert would you kindly re-test your Gears of War 5 benchmarks with the 1660 series and new drivers? Your results are seriously conflicting with so many other sites and personal reviews. .

You work for guru3d? You really don't get what I'm saying.

Gtx 1660ti equals 1070. Unless 2gb are needed and it can be slower as worst case scenario. So I see. In gears 5 they should be closer I think.

Supposedly the 5600XT is electrically x16 like the 5700....and not x8 like the 5500XT.

This thread has nothing to do with the 1660....but Hilbert does typically retest cards for reviews when new drivers are available that have a large impact on performance.

thats because the 5600XT is a 5700XT with lower clocks and a reduced memory interface
