https://store.steampowered.com/app/1063730/New_World/ I can't find an official trailer so for the time being it'll just 3 images and a link to the steam page.
Looks pretty average as far as the theme and such, but it looks like it has potential I guess. I just don't know if I could get into an MMO anymore after spending years in WoW in the past and kind of growing out of them altogether. We'll see how this turns out though.
its just another survival type. played a few of the alphas but stopped playing quite a few builds back. reminded me of rust
Just noticed people are playing this on Twitch.. looks kinda cool. This clip was kinda funny, got banned for no reason while just streaming the beta https://www.twitch.tv/anniefuchsia/clip/CrypticUglyDillTakeNRG-b6oTLn1qhBzXmsC1
I was literally just going through his clips... lol at this. https://www.twitch.tv/asmongold/clip/ShakingScrumptiousYakinikuTwitchRPG-7KfO4iPFvsMEtGFA *edit* Apparently New World is killing EVGA 3090 video cards. https://twitter.com/Gladd/status/1417717898315960320 https://www.reddit.com/r/newworldgame/comments/oobi56/did_the_new_world_beta_brick_your_gpu/
3090 is a hot power hungry beast with overheating vram no wonder it craps out. We can blame nvidia not the game.
nah, just a few of the bad component FTW3's still in the wild that haven't been returned for failure yet, EVGA could have put out a recall notice but didn't. https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/lh5iii/evga_30803090_ftw3_cards_likely_cause_of_failures/ the failing ones also demonstrate pcie overdraw because of the low #3 input. Pretty sure there was a statement about it being because of a midproduction component change without properly testing it first. https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/3408335
If New World was killing GPUs because "it puts too much of an unrestricted load" on a GPU, it wouldn't just be killing 3090s. It would be killing all the GPUs. The reasons are elsewhere.
It's not just killing EVGA cards. It's killing cards from other AIB partners, too. Also killing 6900XT and 6800, according to JayzTwoCents.
Didn't he also say it's because of the heavy load on cards due to uncapped fps in menus and loading screens? That would mean all cards could have issues, not just absolute high end.
