I played the story to completion but before any of the DLCs came out so thinking of giving this a fresh go with my Ryzen 2700/Radeon 5700 setup, wondering if there's any must have mods I should be aware of? Thanks in advance
If Netflix’s Witcher isn’t based on the games, why that shot of Geralt in the bath? https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/20...he-games-why-that-shot-of-geralt-in-the-bath/ Ask an Alice(who the heck is Alice?),why they shot a man in bathroom scratching his balls, than a bunch of women playing "tetris" with him or shaving her arses?
eh wokeflicks plus that scrotum armor plus yennifer so much cringe. and supermans chin still bothers me. other than the chin he is not a horrible geralt, i imagined disaster with the gladd bad armor they tossed on him in the "teaser" shot. the spinny sword style other than geralt should be doing that kinda stuff at super human speeds some shutter work and a bit of acting could make it look more like like that but the choreography for that scene was pretty nice and they definitely aped the games sword style. beyond that they swore up and down they were doing the books and not the games, swore up and down they would not swap the characters for the sake of "diversity" said a ton of things they did not mean. floated ciri being black ffs. and triss and tyennifer are hindu for no fing reason at all. make some hindu and african fantasy stuff if you want to cast diversity. life of pi? balliwood movies? like they do not exist. wokeflicks is the biggest issue with most of the garbage they pumping out. especially with established lore and fantasy stuff there tons of stuff they could work in diversity and globalism to their hearts content. nearly al the future cyberpunk revolves around that stuff, and they already got several series covering that. they do not need to make witcher diverse nor ancient greece or rome. they can shove it.
For the last time, Sapkowski is a consultant on the show. If he's ok with it, why can't you be? The show isn't "woke", it's merely visually diverse as far as I can tell.
describes the junk they been pumping out. lot of bluster and hot takes and no substance at all. or do you have a better descriptor oh guardian of wurds?
The Yennefer and Triss actresses have only been chosen due to SJW agendas... they don't exactly fit into a series happening in medieval Poland...
Maybe I missed this since I've never gotten into The Witcher story wise, and my views are based just on the games but but I never once heard medieval Poland.
It's quite obvious it takes its inspiration there. Not only from the folk tale and monsters, but also from the kingdoms that exist there. E.g. ever expanding Nilfgaard being HRE. Either way most characters are quite well described in the books and both Triss and Yennefer just look out of place. Black dryads are weird too.
