Long time reader first time poster (although I thought I made an account up back when I had my old 8800gt?)..anyhoo

These drivers are by far the best I've had for my 1060 6gb on my surface book 2. Previous drivers in Forza 4 was 53 fps AVG these are 57 AVG WITH the sharpening filter. BFV runs butter smooth with these too (ultra 1080p).

The sharpening feature is the best thing added in a long time for me. With the native res on the book 2 being too high for the 1060gtx I dial it down to 1080p with ultra for both games. With the sharpening filter it is so much sharper, certainly not native but a noticeable improvement and just awesome .... can't sees a real performance penality either). Now if only ultra latency mode is supported on the surface it would be the best even still.. definate keepers for me!

 

Nice VRR doesn't (yet) work though right?
Nvidia and samsung should put their heads together and try to fix it.

Oh and don't forget to run the cleartype text tweak tool from windows. (For BGR pixel layout and 420 tweaks)

 

Would you do me a favor? Could you please Export your EDID to a BIN from your Q90R samsung for me?

is the sharpening in control panel different to the one that the GFE ALT + F3 uses?

The GFE sharpening works fine on red dead and Im using vulkan.

 

its the same reshade shader, but the point of implementation is different
