Some people like to seek attention by hating on high profile games/people/movies/books it's a weird subset of human behaviour that seems to have arisen over the last decade or so.
This behavior has been around since ancient Rome and I am sure before that. Just human nature, there will always be irritants in society because they feed off it. Anyways, I shall wait for steam for this game as apparently its not available in my region although the psychical copy is in games stores here. lol.
It's the best looking open-world game no doubt about it. From both artistic and technological point of view.
So subjective. By what measure? If you mean by the human models and facial movements then Metro is 10 years behind. ME1 had better facial movements. In terms of environmental fidelity? Maybe... draw distance wasn't that great. I think the only thing that can compare is maybe Witcher 3. When I can see detailed ground shadows cast in the distance by clouds, and volumetric fog/lighting all interacting at once, again with huge draw distance I can't think of many games that come close.
If anyone playing on vulkan has the annoying mouse lag while turning and pressing the run button, change mouse settings to direct input to remedy this. The scope of this game is amazing and yes, I think it's one of the best looking games in a long time.
A new updated was pushed for the R* Games Launcher. https://support.rockstargames.com/a...star-Games-Launcher-Release-Notes-v1-0-12-172
Yeah, the draw distance is real trash Imo it has better everything - higher model and object quality, higher texture quality, etc etc etc etc... The same can be said for anthen and shadow of the tomb raider. Not to mention they all have MUCH better performance.
That draw distance is extremely small... you can see for kilometres in RDR. Its maybe 1km at most in that first shot.
/facepalm I have 10 billion dollars, so because you only have 10 million dollars, you are poor. Love that logic... Just because rdr2 has a bigger draw distance, doesn't mean that metro exodus has a short draw distance. And a long draw distance doesnt equal good graphics - in fact i'd trade in a large portion of rdr2's draw distance for higher quality everything up front, because alot of it is quite poor quality.
Does anyone know what those bars are at the bottom of the screen? Don't think they've always been there so not sure what I did to add them!
3800x and 2070S, no issues for me either. I think the game looks great. They captured the lighting and open feel of the western landscape. Best sunset I’ve ever seen in a game,
Ok you just want to be silly now not going to bother... Metro exodus best looking game evar. W/e dude.
Ok lets keep these opinions about the best looking game out of here please , lets enjoy the game for what it is shall we ? clearly its hard to accept what others think about it.
Maybe the launch wasn't perfect but I'm glad technical issues are being fixed. Wouldn't be surprised if performance improvement patches are released in the near future.
