Have you ever played on a 120+hz monitor before?

 

Yes since many years ago lol. I still play on my old xl2420t monitor CSgo . What I meant is, that in such a game, open world game, IMO , 60fps is enough, that is why I will play it at 4k, and hopefully at something close to 60. I have nothing against playing every game out there at 144hz+ 1080p or 1440p with all the bells and whistles, if you can. In this game you definitely cannot , or maybe 1080p 120 ?

Edit: yes, once you tasted 120+ and above, you don’t want to go back, I know , but i am still waiting on some not 2000 euros plus 4K 144hz HDR monitors to buy.

This is at Ultra. If it's anything like GTAV there is an advanced tab and setting all to ultra tanks the fps. Many of these things in that tab can be dialed back a fair bit without much degradation to quality. Hopefully that what they mean.

 

i would wait for hardware site to get their hands on the game not nvidia marketing guys that want you buy their most expensive video card.

nm those gfx options that can be dialed from ultra to high or even med wo nary a image hit. shadows post process stuff.

True dat, this will be a great benchmark. Hell I'll be happy to run 1080p with good framerates.

 

Ok I got the ultimate edition, had to clear 110 GB for the damn install off my NVME drive. Who wants to form a guru gang? I beat the SP on xbox but never bothered with online, now that I have first person + high FPS I want to give it a shot.

 

Downloading game from Epic now.

 

I'm definitely interested in playing online, but I gotta play the story mode first.
