Very interesting. Can't wait for some DX12 vs Vulkan benchmarks. I guess HH is in standby mode for this
Got my code earlier this afternoon, although I was not notified by CDKeys.com. I only found it by clicking on the download link email I got last week when I pre-ordered the code. For some reason, CDKeys.com do not show the keys in the orders on your account and instead you have to get it by using said download email. Stupid really. Would be better if you had that *and* the code listed in your accounts like GreenManGaming and others do... well, IMO, it is. Anyway, it's all pre-loaded now and ready for whenever it unlocks.
New Nvidia driver guys (441.12). https://www.guru3d.com/files_details/geforce_441_12_whql_driver_download.html
Pity there seems to be no way to throttle download with their launcher. I'll have to wait until tonight then.
I don't know if that map is correct. This is what I read: We have received confirmation from Rockstar that Red Dead Redemption 2 will unlock at 5am PT/ 8am ET / 1pm GMT on November 5th globally.

Thank you! I'm looking forward to try this on the pc later today. I didn't like the game on PS4. Maybe KB&M improve the experience? Plus, I'm much more patience gamer on PC than PS4. Gonna crawl like a snail and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Just watched "The Hateful Eight" to boost.. I can't wait.
Thanks to whoever shared the release map...figured it would be midnight based on other dev's games, glad its earlier! I'll be able to get a few hours in before sleep, so happy I got tomorrow off for elections...great timing on both counts. (for me anyway...) I really wanted this game on PC and if its even half my expectations I'd still be happy. Everything else is going to be gathering dust for a while...
PC version seems to have maximum FPS limit at 120FPS on both DX12 and Vulkan https://translate.google.com/transl...ei-120-fps-directx-12-und-vulkan,3350718.html
Vulkan support is definitely interesting. And 120fps is what I set my max too anyway in all my games on my 144hz G-Sync monitor. You are best to have your limit be just below your actual refresh to prevent Vsync from turning on.
They still dont know and need to wait until tomorrow, cos they can only confirm that in their play session the 120fps limit was present, so they werent confirming it for the release version yet.
Well, the fps limit isn't a surprise if true. GTA V starts breaking after 200 fps (HEAVY stuttering), I think it was.
Why would you want to play at more than 60fps in such a game lol ? It‘s not like it’s a massively FPS multiplayer game. 120fps it’s overkill
