I kinda liked the first one. The PC port turned out good in the end (when they added kb+m). Will this continue the storyline (there were some hints in the first game)?
Think the DLC continued from the main storyline but with character creation now a thing this can't continue from William's perspective though it would be fun if he's still around, think the timeline isn't too far between the two games but I could be wrong. Expanding on the summons and other abilities of what I've heard from the test on Playstation from earlier and I guess end game will still be a sea of loot and some really bonkers builds though with a fair of grinding for anyone aiming for Nioh. (Eh that's I think 9 completions or something to go full Nioh Mode in difficulty and NG++ beating out Dark Souls by a small amount which stops scaling around NG6 or NG7 though loot variety tends to stop at NG1 or NG2 already.) Builds for bare handed dealing massive damage, synergies with different gear and some other stuff but the base game already offers much of this without going for that little extra mode. Don't recall any immediate plot or sequel hooks from the DLC but it's probably leaving things open for returning characters though faking deaths and such are also popular hooks and twists so who knows. EDIT: Also agreed on the patches helping out a lot although this stands as one of the few Koei Tecmo PC ports with good (Or any!) mouse support and even that got patched in post launch but it also worked fairly well in comparison to some of their earlier - and later. - PC releases which either emulated a pad or simply didn't support the device at all.
Looks promising, but the game seem to be chugging at times. I hope they don't forget to optimise the darn thing! XD
yea whatever they were running on when they got to that slightly open area, the frames tanked hard, not a great sign, but nioh did not have those issues i sure they get that ironed out there were way more open areas in the first game.
Seriously can not wait to play this. Sure there is code vein and surge 2 right now, but in no way they compare to this game.
I totally loved it. getting better armor / weapons worked very addicting , then there is also the working your way through the level which is hard at first, but becomes easier over time because you leveled up and learn enemy placement and how to approach them best. Its a trial and error game, i love those. magic and ninjitsu skills and all those weapon skills is just awesome. I woulldnt compare it to dark souls, this game deserves to be mentioned on its own tbh , it is that good. I had way more fun with it then with Sekiro.
Beat the crap out the main campaign dozens upon dozens of times. I have the complete game and DLC for PS4 and PC and I still playing it, I just never beat any of the DLC story though, done all the difficulty modes. I rate this game up there with Skyrim types games, there games I will play crap out of. I got to get that though I wont get it for console.
