Image Sharpening blow my mind i tested in witcher and apex legends and this is looking amazing. Ultra latency in apex as well working without any problem (first game champion :D)
    One from best drivers ever.

Adds support for G-SYNC compatibility with NVIDIA Ultra Low Latency Mode
    • Added Ultra Low Latency G-SYNC+ V-Sync feature
      • Provides tear-free, low-latency gaming using G-SYNC displays.
        • To enable, set Low Latency Mode to Ultra, turn on V-Sync, and enable the G-SYNC display.
soo... it wasn't working before then? Meaning Ultra Low Latency with Gsync compatible?

Because at least Gsync worked and works just fine with Ultra Low Latency. So was the Ultra setting actually not usable / enabled before with Gsync compatible mode?

    Didn't notice any issues.
It's alright if the game already supports Freestyle and you use GFE. This way you can tweak sharpness until you find that sweet spot and then just use Freestyle settings in Control Panel. But if a game doesn't support Freestyle or you don't use GFE then it can be a pain to set up since you can't see immediate slider changes and every change requires game restart.
Hopefully people from Nvidia read these forums and will make it so that game restart won't be required in the future updates. After all, DSR smoothness doesn't need restarts, I don't see why this sharpness requires it.

I thought I was already getting the lowest possible latency with keeping my system trim in the background and using Gsync like normal...

"Reboot" the TV after you engaged Gsync Compatible, common flaw with many panels. If you're lucky it will stop blanking/blacking out.

Is high bitrate recordings broken with these drivers? Trying to record 1440p/60 New Nvenc game and they get really choppy. Logs show no render lag at all or lost frames. Games are super fluid, but recordings feels like 25fps.

Not with the OBS hotfix a couple of weeks ago. I know it used to be the case though. Back then you'd get rendering lag and missed frames, but not now.

It will not appear on Optimus / MSHybrid systems. If you have a laptop with a muxer, and set to Discrete mode, which disables the Intel GPU, then you will see the Low Latency option. If your laptop doesn't have a muxer, then next time do better research and make sure you buy one that does.

It was mentioned before that NV will support it on MSHybrid systems in a future update.

VRR is an HDMI 2.1 feature that is compatible with Turing hardware on HDMI 2.0.
It doesnt require HDMI 2.1 graphics hardware.

Just tried the sharpening filter in SotTR. It looked like crap. The amount of shimmering it introduced was brutal.

Does the sharpening feature only work in modern games?

try a lower value than .50, I have mine at .25 now and seems better, less shimmer.
Maybe if you use a lower scale value higher is better but for native res 50 is to much IMO.

image sharpening filter works the best with TAA or any form of AA that blurs the image, in some games it's better to use in game TAA or TXAA + image sharpening, it's close to use dsr

This drivers notes did not make it Turing specific like the last driver did. Maybe they added support for previous architectures/cards with 2.0.

I tested sharpen in Destiny2 and works great.. almost too much at default 0.5.. will try 0.4

I also used driver fxaa instead of ingame and yeah super crispy at 0.5.

So far its a great touch to the driver.

Nvcpl is a bit weird though, blinks few times when i try to change a setting.
