I wonder if they do remake of the old classic NFS 1-6.

Please let it be a better remake than Grid! :(

I had some previous version of Need for Speed years ago and was impressed with visuals and "arcady feel" to it.

Does new version support Oculus / Steam VR though? Could not play any racing game on monitor ever again after VR.

NFS 2SE, my favorite game of the series! Playing on my 2 12MB Voodoo 2's sli. The colors and graphics were stunning! Especially in the areas where they put the colored lighting. The raindrops and bugs hitting the windshield were amazing. Never saw anything like that before.

EA really needs to let NFS die. I have no hope for this game.

There no need for the franchise to die if it makes money, if you dont like it dont play it...simple!

True that. If one wants to play something that at least resembles what NFS should be, then Forza it is. Otherwise EA never found it's way after Most Wanted for NFS. It's just a very bad arcade game with no feeling whatsoever, year after year. This one seems to be the same.

EA might not be good at making fun games anymore but at least they do know how to make high production quality games with reasonable system requirements.

Last NFS that felt like a NFS game was High Stakes from 20 years ago. Porsche was a weird, but cool game, still somewhat NFS, but more like a special edition than a real addition to the series. Anything post-2000 is just a time capsule emulating the fads from its then current era.

I thought Hot Pursuit 2 was fun, and wasn't a fad of its time. Aspects about it wouldn't really be seen in games today (like helicopters dropping explosive barrels surrounded by green toxic clouds) but for the most part it was an all-around good game.

Why almost every EA game is a multiplatform release but NHL is not!? Release the very game I want to buy on PC please, do not hold your own stocks back. There also has to be cross platform multiplayer support.
