    Tried twice these drivers and whenever I got into the CP to change settings, it showed an error and couldn't get into it again unless reinstalling.

    In fact, Windows Insider now installs a previous 432 driver instead of this 440.52, so the CP issue must have been reproduced in lots of rigs.

    Yep it is 432.00 and they not explains why they removed WDDM 2.7?

    Go to settings -> apps -> nvidia control panel -> advanced and choose the reset option - you should then be able to open the app again but it will continue crashing on that page for the 440 drivers.

    Yeah it looks like we have been switched back to the offical nvidia drivers. I got the "update" last night and was a bit confused, but now geforce experience is installing the normal "current" driver (436.48)

    MSI Afterburner is showing 440.23 driver version, not 440.52...

    You have a different versin of the driver, 440.23 was also a insider release, but is older than 440.52

    I don't have any of those versions installed but 436.30. I pointed out to Hardreset he was showing in that video the 440.23. He edited and posted later a new one with the 440.52, but would like to see in that video him modifying settings and applying them to check if any errors show up.

    Delete "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\NVIDIA Corporation\NVControlPanel2\Client\Lastpage" if the control panel closes or showing a error.

    This driver coupled with LG C9 beta firmware enables HDMI VRR over 2.0B.

    Yes i have one error in control panel is in that option that lets you choose between gpu scaling or monitor. But thats the only part with problem for me.

    Thanks, it works, but when trying to enter adjust desktop size and position, an immediate error shows up and closes again. Can't enter that setting.
