Apparently their other PS4 pad isn't sold in NA, only Europe, due to some legal issue. Microsoft and Sony really don't like allowing 3rd parties to make wireless controllers. That's the real reason why all official/licensed 3rd parties only make wired ones.
110€? really? If you sell a hq keyboard, with a ton of mx-whatsoever switches i still can somehow understand the price, but for that small thing with 15-20 few switches, that's a joke. But I'm open for solid explanations... (and don't get me wrong, cause I'm waiting for a good gamepad that is robust, reliable & not that expensive...)
Standard wireless controllers from name brand manufacturers (Microsoft, Sony, etc.) go for $60 retail (street prices are obviously lower). The "pro" versions often go for $100+. This is a specialized controller targeting the same audience as the pro versions, so I can see where they got their pricing. Still don't agree with it, though... so I'll stick with my old wireless Xbox 360 controller or get some off-brand wired ones.
if im to pay a premium price like that for a controller on my pc ill buy the xbox pro controller before that
Have you read the article properly ? Razer has announced the Raion, an arcade fightpad for PS4 and PC, with top tier tournament features giving players the control and accuracy of a fullsize fightstick in the palm of their hands and is gold plated - 48 carrot .......
It's just a D pad with 6 buttons layed out like a street fighter cabinet, so the light, medium and hard buttons are convenient, instead of the hard buttons relegated to the shoulder/bumper buttons..
