Ah nice, another fellow Belgian. On a **** diet though, haven't eaten some of those nice fries in months :x
Heh, actually quite some German speaking fellow gurus. BUT... complain about it what you want... I think it's good that we never bothered to care so far. After all, as long as we use a language we can all understand and talk about stuff, who cares... I guess that's egalité
As having been there 16 times now I can totally agree. And I have even just so seen the Eastern parts over to Ontario... there's still so much more to find out even for me You can always stop for some coffee at Tim Horton's, eh!
Make it out west next time BC is very beautiful I have lived in the west since 2001 love it here.In the lower mainland the weather is much nicer than out East.
I have to admit, western Canada is beautiful - I have half a mind to move to Vancouver when I retire. Although I love Toronto, the landscape can be pretty dull.
I know. The housing market is pretty crazy over there, although Toronto is no pushover in that regard. I visited Vancouver during a country-wide trip by rail. Mind-numbingly boring for the most part (would not recommend) but got considerably interesting when we got close to BC. I thought it'd be nice if I could retire and buy a house along the mountains, although that may have just been the novelty - Toronto is flat as a pancake.
Lived in the Netherlands for over a year back in 2000 (moved back to Canada on Sept 11, 2001 .... yeah, that was a day). I'm right near Toronto (City of Waterloo) which is the Google HQ of Canada... massive complex down the street from me.
