The more devices work in MSI mode the better, in theory. There can be faulty written drivers which will fail or glitch in MSI mode.

PS Improvement of MSI mode over the legacy one is not huge, but noticable. Some gurus reported solved minor problems.

Yes. You can always tick them off if something go wrong.

Latency with twitch/steam/discords in the background. That 427 spike happened because I activated a program.Noticed it also happens when I run a game for the first time too so il take it as normal.

As for benchmark. That stutter in the middle always happens so I also assume it's normal.I've also seen videos on youtube with the same stutter too.Wierdly enough If I enable msimode for the audio controllers I get like -50 points give or take from the score. So I disabled those and simply enabled msimode for the gpu.

Now to try some games.Il report back later if it worked.

But be aware that you as a gamer is not a benchmark.

an interrupt is fired to promote the pstate,

the dpc latency is the result of the gpu as well as pcie bus leaving gen 1 clockrates

I think there's no difference with graphics/audio on msi mode. The random stutter and not so random stutter still there.I think it has to be the games I play at this point.

Should I just leave msimode on for the audiocontrollers/gpu?I do see a slight score drop with audio controller on msimode.Other then that there's no change.

It is up to you. I switch all possible devices to MSI mode just because this mode is more natural for PCI-E devices.

And each installation of new drivers will revert it back to legacy mode. Be informed...

Out of curiosity.Enabling MSI mode for the gpu couldn't possible cause stutter in games right?

One guru reported something like this. All others reported improved gameplay. In modern days the variability of HW and SW is just insane, so there are no universal recipes.

He also turned it back on afterwards and the issue didn't occur anymore.

I was not sure whether he turned MSI back on, I was only sure he reported issues.

Does the MSI utility need a restart to take effect (interrupt priority) or no?

You need to hit apply and reboot the system for changes to take place.

Stop and start the driver is just as effective.
