Hello! Here's a 8,5k graphics score run I just did. You could try settings similar to these. My max HBM2 clocks are somewhere in the 1110 to 1160 MHz region depending on the game/benchmark. The core clock seems to max out at 1743-1744 MHz @1200 mV. 1742 MHz is pretty much rock solid whereas 1745MHz always crashes (at +50% power limit).

Using settings like these is very impractical in my opinion, since the card's power efficiency drops steeply. HWMonitor reported a 347 W powerdraw during this run, while the run with my daily setup only drew about 250 watts. So a +3,56% score gain (8242 vs. 8536) for about +40% higher power draw, hurray!

The tighter memory timings seem to play quite an essential role in the score. For a point of reference, here's a set of results with identical settings but on default timings:

So 8389 vs. 8536. I'd say that's a pretty meaningful difference essentially for free.

Hope this was of some use!

    Cheers, Dae

My max is 8k probably my Ryzen 1600 even at 4ghz does not help.

I cant go over 1650mhz on the core. even giving it more power close to 400W

Mine is unmolded so Even iwth the waterblock i cant get the Hot spot under control. Tried to remount the damm thing many times.

If I play The Surge 2 its a vulkan game I can get 1680mhz core and 1200HBm no problem.

I think mine is one of the Bad vegas.

Its a hell of a card and fast but I lost the silicon lot with mine.

AFAiK, CL14 reverts back to Default CL20 (tested in OCL)
Fastest is CL16, please do some testing on Your side (just test CL14,16 and 20 but change for run only CL).

Besides, that is a good score, i can hit 8.5k also.
I need to test 1830MHz at 1.2v +25%POW :D to see what i can get with 0.5UV (LC is 1.250v).

Are your cards stable if you change memory timings (lvl1/2)? I know Vega have no gpu memory errors reading in hwinfo so how can you tell if your card is acting up.

Did some testing with mem clocks at 1111 MHz since I had some randomly weird 3dmark crashes at the previous value (1131 MHz) when changing tCL values.

Here are the results, I only did 1 pass per value:

    tCL 23
    Graphics score
    8 477
    Graphics test 1
    58.91 FPS
    Graphics test 2
    46.08 FPS

    tCL 22
    Graphics score
    8 470
    Graphics test 1
    58.87 FPS
    Graphics test 2
    46.05 FPS

    tCL 21
    Graphics score
    8 472
    Graphics test 1
    58.94 FPS
    Graphics test 2
    46.02 FPS

    tCL 20
    Graphics score
    8 471
    Graphics test 1
    58.96 FPS
    Graphics test 2
    46.00 FPS

    tCL 19
    Graphics score
    8 474
    Graphics test 1
    58.97 FPS
    Graphics test 2
    46.02 FPS

    tCL 18
    Graphics score
    8 478
    Graphics test 1
    58.93 FPS
    Graphics test 2
    46.09 FPS

    tCL 17 (best result)
    Graphics score
    8 486
    Graphics test 1
    59.10 FPS
    Graphics test 2
    46.05 FPS

    tCL 16 (worst result)
    Graphics score
    8 468
    Graphics test 1
    58.98 FPS
    Graphics test 2
    45.95 FPS

    tCL 15
    Graphics score
    8 477
    Graphics test 1
    59.00 FPS
    Graphics test 2
    46.03 FPS

    tCL 14
    Graphics score
    8 479
    Graphics test 1
    58.95 FPS
    Graphics test 2
    46.08 FPS

The results are rather odd and to my eye seem more like run-to-run variance than anything else. Needs some further testing I guess.

    EDIT:
Added more runs. Now things seem to make even less sense! :D
I guess modifying tCL in isolation isn't that fruitful after all or my card responds to its changes in a weird way.

NP found, game runs smooth is looking beautifull.

    Note:
It's My Medium Config for Med/Heavy Games, configured for Cool&Quiet long session Gaming.
    HBM2 V @ 918mV ;) (Hotspot ~61deg)
    CPU set to 4300MHz at CCX1 rest at 4200/4150MHz 1.325v (~60deg)

Nice setings. did you notice the new ryzen helped with the perfomance or it almost the same, I think my 1600 4ghz is holding the card back.

Yes I will try to get the 3800x just because of boost, or maybe a 3900x.

need to se eif my x370 carbon can hold it. will see if I can put a fan on the vrm.

That engine is horrible on amd, but our LCs are holding out near the 5700. if it has smaa just take it out, it just hurts performance.

For an AMD sponsored game it's a disappointing result. But it's not even running under DX12, while AMD page suggest it should be DX12 game.

Horrible performance. And I was trying to figure it out why. That's why. Numbers are talking. Amd does not deliver at the moment. Lmao. Nvidia can enjoy this.

^^ Guys -> If You could see what i've seen with 'my' eyes :p
Game looks gorgeous, and runs incredibly well (at mixed V.High etc.).
You know game has slider, Default (by Game that is) on my Rig is at V.High + AA -> You can't tell the obvious difference w/ALL Maxed.

For me (Tex. at Ultimate) it shows ~6GB VRAM and ~7GB RAM (Do not look at RAM lol, I have Cache, that is ~9.3GB for SSD/HDD etc.)
Game is More than playable 65-70FPS all day long (no Big drops).
    ~170tW at my Default Med-Gaming Profile, HBM2 CL16.

it was my 1 edit, I had music when I was playing but youtube was going to get angry about it. SO I had to use free youtube music.

If its nice with the gameplay will keep it up.

Maybe will do a boss today and put it here :)
