Corsair announced the availability of a new kit of its Vengeance LPX DDR4 Memory, setting a new record for commercially available high-frequency DRAM with clock speeds up to a 4,866MHz. This fast ... Corsair Releases 4,866MHz Vengeance LPX DDR4 Memory for 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen
I wanna say same .. thats awefully fast considering what I have heard what people are running at least what I'm reading around forums.
https://www.corsair.com/uk/en/Categories/Products/Memory/vengeance-lpx-black/p/CMK16GX4M2Z4866C18 I'd personally wait for ddr5, than spend 1k on ddr4 cl18 ram.
It's because Ram is called "Vengence" lol nope On other hand ultra fast ram are less easy to use, "normal" user could get problem... and other will enjoy the speed
Considering most 3rd gen Ryzen users like myself can't even get the CPU fabric clock to run at the AMD recommended maximum 1:1 ratio of 1800MHz (for a memory DDR clock of 3600MHz)... I don't know what use 4866MHz RAM is - apart from the usual of manufacturers being able to sell the same thing for more money. I bought high-end 4000MHz RAM to have some headroom to make sure it would run at the recommended 3600MHz... I can't even get it to do that... can only get it stable at 3400MHz maximum (and that's using AMD DRAM Calculator and high-end RAM using Samsung B-Die modules).
Voltage is still sensitive as was with first gen Ryzen. The recommended minimum was too high until this current version 1.6.2. Also the Memaddr/MemCsOdt/Memcke settings, they were off with earlier versions. 0 still does not work. 1 does work but 60 (the alternate recommendation) works better. Only thing off was the CLDO VDDP. The recommended setting of 700 is too low; refuses to boot. 800 was the perfect setting. So as recommended for 3800, cadbus is at 24-20-20-24. ProcODT @ 34.3 and 1T. Those settings allowed me to even tighten TwtrS -TwtrL-Twr to 3-10-10. PE is set to "default" and PBO to enabled. CPU is offset -.03125 and Soc offset +.00625. Fabric is stable at 1900. If Soc is increased or decreased literally one step, game over; same with the Ram voltage @ 1.39. Just need to find the right combination. Agesa version is 1003ABB.
Relly bro, i have 3200 bdie and i have it at 3600CL14.14.15 32gb on a msi x570 ace with a x3700. I ran memtest pro for 10hour to check if it was stable and it was . It's all running at 1.1 , not sure what the problem is with ur cpu then.
How did you find all those settings for CPU/SOC offset? Also DRAM Calculator gives absolute values to use for those... no idea how to use "offset" system. When you say "recommended setting of 700" are you talking about DRAM Calculator recommendations? Because if you are saying that it is not giving correct values then what hope have I got... that program is supposed to be the expert on Ryzen memory overclocking. I also have to use 2T... 1T fails OCCT validation immediately. "Agesa version is 1003ABB" - not using ABBA version yet?
