I find with my 480 that if I set a fan curve to keep my temp anything below the standard setting I get regular crashes, on std setting GPU temp maxes between 82-84 with no crashing, having said that I've not tried the 19.9.1 yet

Getting some weird particle streaks with these drivers in Rage 2. Particles will cause lines that extend to edges of screen in certain explosions.

Also enabling Anti Lag has screwed the 1:1 frame-rate to monitor refresh rate in Doom. Even after disabling it Doom no longer syncs to monitor refresh rate as it did before.

Which DOOM are you talking about? Anti-Lag doesn't work in Vulkan and OpenGL games as far as I'm aware and DOOM doesn't have DX11 support.

I'm playing DOOM 2016 and freesync works perfectly for me and Anti-Lag does not work for that game.

@Jayson Yeah Doom 2016. Didn't realise that, the option to turn it on was in the Doom profile in the Radeon settings.
Previously it used to sync perfectly at 144hz. Now it runs at 200hz with the monitor running half the fps. So fps 200, refresh 100. Fps 180, refresh 90.

It only started doing that after turning on anti-lag. And still does it after turning it off. Tried resetting the Doom profile settings.
I'll have another play with it to see if I can get it back the way it was.

Ok the Doom fps/refresh rate thing is resolved. After starting PC up global and doom vsync was set to Enhanced Sync instead of just on.
I definitely didn't set this to enhanced sync before. I think their settings are screwing up behind the interface somewhat.

Voltage/Frequency option is gone in Wattman after installing WHQL, setting Auto undervolt GPU set values to 0/0 mV.
Will try DDU now then install the driver again.
EDIT.: ok, Voltage/Frequency option is back :) thanks DDU

Looks like the issues with MPC-based players and lav filters and free-sync monitors are finally fixed.

Goddamn, I was suspecting on something like that but it's retarded :( Gonna stick with old drivers for now. Hopefully until NY I get one which works fine with everything.

Another BSOD last night just browsing in Chrome. IRQ_NOT_LESS_THAN issue. Pretty sure from these drivers.
Would expect kernel sections of their drivers to be rock solid by now. Should just be different data they pump down to different gpu's..

Anyone with a rx 5700 xt (or non xt will do) can test or maybe you already play, pes 2020 demo. I tried it with my 5700 xt pulse and i get a black screen each time the match loads. I can play fifa 20 and other games without issues. Loving the card !

Even though game is amd sponsored it performs better on nvidia atm so yeah, we need a driver.

Well, Unreal Engine always ran better on NVIDIA cards :) looks like not even Navi cards can change that at all

Who cares still in 2020? Unreal stuttering engine, unreal frames as graphics performance quality ratio. It is a highly overrated engine by the years I never understood the success around it. Epic fail.
