My Sapphire reference 64 is resinless, built on the 34th week of 2017 (third and fourth digits of serial are the year, the next two are the week).

I still fail to recognize the difference between the three variants... all; i know is that my strix vega 64 looked "glossy" when i repasted it for the first time...

What do you mean by #6?

    /OT
P.S idk if this is common knowledge but you should test this reshade preset which includes radeon cas (sharpener but not upscaler) for our vega gpus

6/26/2019 WDDM 2.6 on W10 1903. RX Vega rocks, especially at 209 quid / dolls :D Amazing 1080p, playable 1440p, perfect ultrawide sweetspot for my 2560x1080 :D It's a 56, pre-flashed with 64 bios and switchable, it's a Blower / Sapphire but it's 2018 model vs my 2017, runs cooler maybe unmolded, my original was molded for sure (Hotspot issues after modding, which led to me having to retire the card due to no ability to fix it afterwards as my friend couldn't.) 'Auto Undervolt' in this driver works and I haven't tested it with every game I played but games that used to struggle in OpenGL, I can literally run Doom2+Project Brutality+XBRZ x4!!!! I used to dip fps on x3, now I can actually play it with x4. It's not bad HBM2 after all, anyone who said it was dead on arrival was seriously wrong. Great longetivity, long driver support, and generally just a great card if you can handle the heat (Pun intended!) Yea i'm oldschool gamer a lot, but still, I can play doom 2016 easy too, even opengl is playable, and cs:go and all the esports :D

    Im now Playing GR Breakpoint.
Game is Auto set at V.High Preset with all Options Set to On.
Runs stable with AntiLag + SharpenFX, 68-70FPS (GPU at 98-99% CPU at 32-47%)

All i can say that Optimisation is here for sure, and game looks even better that GRWL (tesselated mug like in Spintires lol).
    1668MHz 1110HBM2 (w/CL17), CPU ~3930MHz RAM ~3450MHz CL14
IMO it utilizes ACE for sure (i bet at x4) :p

Smooth as butter (Alpha was not so great at all)

The molded/resin variant has a single even surface, the unmolded/resinless have 3 separate dies

    Iap that's correct.

It's mostly on 1 gen Vegas.

Just as an updated, with beta bios for the motherboard I can now push the r5 1600 to 4.1ghz.

The Vega 64 is a beast. Mostly caped at 75 fps 1440p.

Will try to post some more gameplay of No Man Sky with vulkan. In one week on holiday ATM :)

New gigabyte vega 56 owner here , late to the vega party but found a good deal. I've read some possible issues may be had with my card but we will see. Looking for any tips , tweaks etc that one might suggest starting out. I'm coming from an Rx 580. Plan to read this thread soon.

I've just opened my V64 to repaste with thermal grizzly and found out that is molded. However i did not have correct washer size and they were of metal so i skipped this... Hotspot does not reach more than 93c even in AC odyssey 200% resolution with my current clock (1677-1100mv).
I think i have a very sucking vega for this. Lost silicon lottery completely. Is binned so bad that won't stay at 1600 even at 1700-1200 mv... it even lowers clocks at these voltages even if temp doesn't go past 70c, LOL

Hello, welcome to the v64 club. They are very good cards, clocks depend on allot of variables, undervolt + oc. Try to oc the hbm and then go to the core.

"Welcome" lol im here since the opening of the other thread but whatever XD
They are very good cards but frustrates me seeing people having 1600+ full load where i mostly have 1560-1570 no matter the cooling

Well it can always be worse: My ROG STRIX Vega 64 usually hovers around 1420 under full load in GPU intensive games.

Even with power +50% it never retains a constant 1630MHz. The GPU speed is all over the place usually, averaging somewhere around 1420-1500MHz depending on the title.

What do you get in TimeSpy/Firestrike/Superposition (MHz, not scores)?

My red devil goes around 1580mhz , I think I need a water block.

Also remember normal Vegas are XT not XTX
