There's a Nintendo Direct scheduled for 5PM Central today. Watch it here: https://www.nintendo.com/nintendo-direct/09-04-2019/ I realize that's only 2 hours away but I'm posting it anyways for those who read this before then. **Added** I never played the original, but Deadly Premonition 2 is coming out for Switch. That should make some people happy. Doom 64, another game I haven't played, is also coming. Super Nintendo Switch Online! Knew it was coming eventually but it's still is pretty amazing. Animal Crossing New Horizons looks fun, although I think I may have outgrown the series. Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition also announced. **Added** Here's all the trailers that appeared in the Direct: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/nintendo-direct-all-the-new-trailers-in-one-place/1100-6469647/
I fear I have out grown Animal Crossing as well. Doesn't help it's basically been the same game since 2002 though. Will get Xeno Chronicles.
Want the Toyko Mirage Sessions port, will wait to see what has changed with Xeno cause unless they've reworked side quests a lot might skip it Deadly Premonitions 2 was quite the surprise, thought it was just a port of 1 (which released yesterday)
Yeah with Tokyo Mirage Sessions they used the Wii-U gamepad screen for the Text messages and the map and enemy elemental weaknesses so with that they will have to rework alot of that functionality so it would work with the game pad functionality removed. Also I am hoping if they do re-release Tokyo Mirage Sessions that they put back the stuff that was censored in the original Western Release since Nintendo is about not censoring games any more. Until Atlus and Nintendo agree to port it to Switch I will play the uncensored version emulated. About Xeno I am willing to bet alot of users may want to get the game again to play Xeno 1 on the go just like the sequel. But that just me. I am going to get Xeno on the switch when it comes out.
Mirage trailer showed censored stuff. As for the gamepad stuff frankly i'll be glad its gone in mirage, it was little more than a constantly open pause menu and the game didn't benefit from it. Even if you played with a pro controller you were forced to use that stupid gamepad. I had Xeno on the 3ds and it was cool being on the go, but again, side quests are a massive hassle and there are a lot of them.
Yeah I remember watching a video about the Mirage trailer being censored. Yeah I agree using the Pro controller and they made you use the game pad that was a stupid feature. I think Hyrule Warriors was the same way they made you use the Game Pad + Pro Controller combo which did get a Switch release. So to me it is possible for Mirage to get a Switch release.
Oh baby it is finally happening Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE is finally getting a Switch release. Called Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore. It has a January 17th 2020 release. https://kotaku.com/tokyo-mirage-sessions-fe-the-crossover-between-shin-m-1837884031 I am so pumped up for this
Amazing game that falls just before the finish line with questionable performance issues. I hope they get patched.
Thats rather heartbreaking considering it's Nintendo and that's rare for them to have performance issues vs some 3rd party devs. Maybe since this is a complete overhaul of this game performance issues is bound to happen.
It's made by grezzo with oversight from nintendo so I guess you could say it is third party to a degree. It's still selling bucketloads though, some of the stutters appear to be area loading as well, apparently having it on internal memory vs SD & game cart can help. As an aside, completed astral chain last night, that was a fun game, not super desperate for this new zelda though since I have borderlands 3 to play.
gunna go out on a limb and say you didn't play TP, SS, TPHD or BOTW? These were first party games and all had performance issues in some situations.
Oh I know of BOTW and the issues that game had didn't know about TPHD. Very interesting though. Ok that explains it. Hopefully it gets patched soon. I am not going to be getting it right away anyway as well because i am waiting for Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore in January and then I am going to get that Spiderman game on PS4.
