Had multiple BSODs and a "unknown vendor" warning(during install) with the current 8/29...8/26 version(full version) installed fine - as usual.

Note: Noticed that CRU removes one of the YCbCr pixel options.

I'm not seeing any 8/29 dated version anywhere?

Doesn't look like you looked very hard at all - Win7)

Oddly, it doesn't even match the auto-detect version. This is so horribly sloppy/bad...if this was some guy doing this, would feel like trolling.

Plus it is an OS to die soon. Even Linux is a by far superior choice at the very moment as we speak. Only if someone has a legit windows 7 copy and denies the money for upgrade I can forgive. For all other reasons, it's stupid as ffff.

Ugly, slow, sluggish, no support for real smooth frames and smooth video with perfect vsync. Windows seven are an office os only. They are neither gaming no mmedia capable anymore.

It is like having an Xbox 360 still plugged in and playing this time and age. It ain't be so beautiful.

Xbox one's ecosystem and windows 10 are the absolute best moment of Microsoft's evolution.

Just in case you aren't being sarcastic and not insanely brainwashed...

You may have used it only on a very slow Core 2 Duo and 5400 HDD setup, but even my system is far superior to that. It is far from sluggish. It has different sync options - 7 isn't limited to only the standard V-sync. Yes, really. Yep, even has Enhanced Sync support. Games run great, unless held back by HARDWARE. 4K 60fps videos play smooth as silk. Isn't it absolutely insane?!?! Heh...

If you got proof of Win 10 being much better with games and videos, show it?

Kinda hope you were being sarcastic...

Im on Windows 7 64bit still, using freesync, running a 4k monitor, RX580 8GB using the latest 19.8.2 driver. Only downside is I can't play Forza because its DX12 oh noes..
Windows 10 needs more resources = worse performance

    1. I guess Microsoft just released DX12 for Windows 7 too
    2. It doesn't need more resources IF you want to, also having better performance with the same/more resources :)

    1. You didn't guess. They did. Kinda.
    2. Show this much better performance?

I've seen plenty have issues with Win 10. Why would I risk anything when Win 7 is working fine? DX 12? Don't need that, yet...

Τhings are very simple really, Radeon team, and im sure Nvidia team are suggesting Windows 10 1903 for better perfomance/stability.

Its like buy 5700 XT and using windows 7, thats just lol.

If you dont like windows 10 build in apps and crap, its fine...use WPD disable everything, and unistall everything in just 1 simple click.

Windows 10 is working more than fine, some people have problems? Sure, not every system is the same, neither the user behind the computer.

It is as if you didn't want to understand what I said...

Sure, supporting only 1 OS would make things easier for them. Thing is, 7 is still quite widely used.

You may think Win 10 has no negatives, but I've read otherwise.

Again - Win 7 works fine for me, among others. Try to accept that.

I'm actually looking into buying a 5700, likely(reasons). You can laugh, but I can see myself enjoying it(even w/o some features).

There are still ways to upgrade to 10.
I know the negatives 1st hand since I was insider from beginning. And Fast ring was sometimes ridiculously good at self destruction.

They pushed a lot of "features" which were later removed as they were hideous.

But today as a consumer, you install win 10. Have everything related to productivity/gaming better.
Then you run any of one-click-utilities which block all privacy related things if that's what bothers you. And you are done.
