We are reviewing an AIO cooler from Deepcool: the Castle 240 EX. It’s one of two variants (the bigger is 360 mm) of the new series. Both are equipped with Deepcool’s exclusive Anti... Review: Deepcool Gamerstorm Castle 240EX AIO
Pretty much all RGB components have rainbow cycle as the default setting. Assuming you already know that though and are looking to elicit some negative responses. Calculated, bro.
When the pump was tested for noise, was the pump header set to use a fan curve? I've had the same cooler for 2 weeks now, and the pump is certainly audible over the case fans when idle. I was instructed by Deepcool to provide the full 12V to the pump. I'm not sure if they say that because there's legit concern of damaging the pump if you undervolt, or if it's just a conservative response to eliminate the chance of user error.
This type of AIO cooler is exactly the opposite of what I would want out of AIO water cooler. I would literally ask money from Deepcool to use this thing. Like reviewers do.
Thanks for that wonderful and respectful comment, what a gentlemen you are. Btw we never have even received a single cent from them (and would not take it either).
I worded that badly I did not mean any reviewer in particular. What I meant was, reviewers get this AIO for free, use it for review. Reviewers sometime ask manufacturers for pieces of hardware for review (again, not any one in particular) etc. Anyway, It was not my intent to offend you or any reviewer, I am sorry if I did.
@kribby I've got the same "problem". The Pump is loud even in idle. The fans are quiet but the pump is the problem. Have you find a solution? My BIOS says that the speed is around 2600 rpm. Not sure if this is normal...
