GTX 1660 Ti (if you forget raytracing) --------------------------------------------- Get the RTX 2070 () ... come on....you can do it!
In the near future the RTX 2070 can make sense for "light" gaming. (IMO) ------------------------------------- As you wish guru...... -------------------------------------
If both are priced at $200, the 2060 is really a no-brainer since it's faster than the 1660Ti by a good margin....
1660 ti has no ray tracing , 2070 rtx is not good value per performance compared to rtx 2060. So for me 2060 is the way to go.
you mean the 2060super...only $50 more with a giant boost in performance. or you can get a 5700xt for same but you will need a 6+8 pin plug to power it....
If you only do light gaming at normal resolutions (say, FHD), the 1660 Ti provides the best bang for the buck. The RTX 2060 will barely produce better framerates at that resolution. I know it because I tested both and kept the 1660 Ti. Raytracing? Perhaps next year with Ampere.
agree^....1660ti would be my upgrade path if I needed to....my 1060 still hangs in there @1080p and I also have a RX 480 4GB that works good to.
New Vega 56's go for over $300 on newegg so why in the hell would he get one of those or an aging RX 580 if he can get a 2060 for $200?
