Has been fine with my 480. Maybe you're in a tiny minority? I think it could be.

I am not in a tiny majority who using an older driver to fix the issue - nowadays it looks like AMD has become a chimp circus (always some crap with drivers)

Saying most Polaris owners have this? Am I one of the lucky ones(144Hz monitor here BTW)? Is Nvidia always perfect for everyone? Going by what I've read, I doubt it.

Last time I used it on Nvidia card you had to have HDR capable HDCP 2.2 display connected, enable HDR toggle in Windows display settings. Disable any secondary monitors/av receivers that don't support HDCP 2.2. Possibly you might need to use HDMI and not display port.

There are def more than one person with this problem out there

Nvidia certainly not perfect but still better than the AMD mess going on right now - sumthin' is seriously wrong with AMD

5% or more have this? Source? I seen some say Nvidia also has a lot of issues.

HDR won't show unless you meet all the conditions. See my post for what those conditions are. Display port might not work because Display port doesn't officially support HDCP 2.2. You need HDMI 2.

I have these options while using a vega 64 with a Acer XF270HUA

RGB 4:4:4: Pixel Format PC Standard (Full RGB)
    YCbCr 4:4:4: Pixel Format
    YCbCr 4:2:2: Pixel Format
RGB 4:4:4: Pixel Format Studio (Limited RGB)

Seems to be ok on my system with 19.5.2 and also when i tried 19.7.5

AMD will certainly know how many elevated-clock problems have been reported - ask them!
.. and, btw, 5% still is a reason to fix a problem, no?! .. not for you I guess.

But understandably if AMD would fix every single driver problem they would drown 4ever hence this much about driver quality.

I see it's much easier to release every month sumthin' "new" (hardware) and expect people to buy instead of waiting for a working driver - let's see how long that smart idea lasts.

    NOw. stop hijacking this thread

As I have Vega I can't test and was just listing the steps needed for Nvidia.

Possibly like with widevine l1 on Android having PlayReady®3.0 is not enough (for 4k Netflix) and the card still needs to be white listed by Netflix.

Now relax yourself! Keep it polite! Take your hostility elsewhere!

    Don't see where I said 5% isn't a lot.

Same thing on my TV on Fury. Pixel Format was here on previously drivers.
About Colour corruption. I can't confirmed this driver solved problem on RX 480 (my brother PC), because he have this very rarely (maybe one for 20 runs) and it is very easy to fix in his case. Just open Resolution Settings in Windows, nothing more.
About memory idle issue. Never happend in my brother PC. Idle in 300MHz.

Hey guys...I read through the comments...but I just want to confirm the pixel option miss...those that it is missing...are you using a polaris gpu or are others with other gpus having this issue? Second, is it only missing on TV connection or is it also on monitors?

I just woke up and have not had time to test on my gpus but I currently do not have my polaris gpus in a pc. Gonna test on Navi and Vega later today unless y'all confirm.
