Well....the Pentium-D was basically a pair of Pentium4's glued together.... Guess they forgot about that before making the joke....
"Announced" is a bit premature in this case. The news bits is that Cooper Lake CPUs will offer up to 56 cores and will be socketable and will fit same mobos as Ice Lake Xeons, but no products were announced. The 9200 Series Intel is refererring to is actually Cascade Lake and was already released in April.
