Basically this, which one would you choose, the price difference is negligible.
MSI board has build in 10GB Aquantilla, ASUS has 2.5Gb TrashyMcTrash Ethernet
    Both Have 1Gb Intel too
Both have two m.2 slots, but MSI has NVMe Expansion card for 2 extra.
    Both Have latest Intel WiFi.
ASUS has 8 SATA, MSI has 6
    ASUS has x9 10Gbps USB ports + x4 6Gbps USB ports on the back, MSI has x2 10Gbps, x10 5Gbps, x2 USB2.0
MSI has extra x4 PCIe x1 GEN2.0 slots [good for sound cards, sata cards...]
ASUS is ATX, MSI is EATX

MSI is still on 1.0.0.3A and can't boost 3k chips properly.

How it can be if this is x570 chipset that was made especially for 3K chips?
    People reviewed this board already

So i just checked all the main AAA boards:

MSI PRESTIGE X570 CREATION has BIOS from 02/07/2019 Named: ComboPI1.0.0.3a
MSI Godlike has bios from 20/06/2019 and has no name nor info
Gigabyte AORUS Master has bios from 12/07/2019 Named: Update AGESA 1.0.0.3AB
ROG Crosshair VIII Hero (WI-FI) has bios from 17/07/2019 Named: AM4 Combo PI 1.0.0.3AB

So unless there is difference between 1.0.0.3A and 1.0.03AB they all use the same AGESA

The difference is boost and no one said that MSI wont release bios updates.
In any case one of these boards will be paired with Ryzen 1200 or 1400 or 3200G or at best Ryzen 1600

    atleast the 1.0.0.3 bios's don't break the 1 and 2k parts.

Basically im waiting for the 16 core CPU but I have all the hardware here [was planning water cooled z390+9900k build, now selling my z390 mobo]
Till 16 core ryzen comes out, ill buy the cheapest ryzen i can find just to build the system and then when 16 comes out ill swap it
And my temporally used CPU will be sold on ebay, since it cheap one i wont lose much on it [maybe ill keep it for backup]

good idea!, you'll basically wait out the bios issues while getting familiar with the board and its features.

Indeed I do. MSI did an amazing job with their X570 chipset fans. The fan on my board has only spun up, maybe, twice. The one time I loaded the board with as much wattage as I could and the fan went to max speed and I couldn't even hear it inside a case.

As for BIOSes. Asus and MSI have incredible BIOSes. Asus might have one or two more little overclocking options (ones for LN2 and the like) but the MSI BIOS is definitely NO slouch. I also find the MSI BIOS easier to navigate.

    Good news.
Dont you feel disappointed now that yesterday many web sites said that ASUS leaked new AMD Chipset? That x590 is real?

I just checked their post and it says its fresh news, everyone re-posted it including big sites.
Personally i pray its real, I just want more PCIe lanes, Ill be ok if AMD releases Gen3 based chipset just with more lanes.
IMO, AMD needs something to rival Intel HEDT, before you say: But what about Threadripper.
Ill tell you that TR is not really HEDT solution, its 100% pure Workstation solution for home use.
There is LARGE chunk of people, me included like small business owners, home video editors, hardcore gamers/streamers, YT Channel owners, people that prefer/want ONE PC that will be powerful enough to do everything: Game and Work.
    TR cant game.
So I hope that x590 is AMDs HEDT chipset to go between TR and Mainstream x570, it will have more PCIe lanes and maybe Quad Channel Ram which maybe 3950x might support, but if not QC RAM then at least more PCIe lanes, what most people want is not much: x16/x8/x4/x4 [ill be ok with x16/x4/x4/x4 in worst case] on top of 8 SATA and 2-3 NVMe

when I was choosing which X570 mobo to get for my 3900X, I was torn between the Asus Crosshair VIII Formula and the GB X570 Aorus Xtreme. The MSI Godlike wasn't in consideration because it's priced well over the X570 Aorus Xtreme and Asus X570 C8F in my neck of the woods.

I decided on the Xtreme, booted up with old BIOS without and issue, updated to 1.0.0.3 ABB and everything's running well. Just OC'ed it to 4.5ghz (get mixed bag of 4.3ghz to 4.5ghz) and it's running stable. My only complaint is the relatively slow boot time, it's faster than a HDD but a fair bit slower than the SSD's on my two Intel rigs.....and it's booting off a 256GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD!

TR will be able to game.
AMD fixed the memory routing issues in zen 2.

If it couldn't game then neither could any 2+ chiplet design. Aka 3900x or 3950x.

If those extra PCIe lanes are a requirement then I would be waiting for the new TR.
